Not only is the ice cream delicious but the staff is great! I went in to ask if they make special cakes and they didn't not but... the young women behind the counter went out of her way to give me other options. It wasn't busy since I went at 2pm, but shehand made me a specialty item with the flavor I wanted and some extra treats as well. I forget the ladies name but thank you forgoing above and beyond! Homemade Ice cream is amazing here! My go to flavors are almond joy and the Canoli and the specialtyflavor I ordered today was cookie monster for a friend's bday! Delicious! Read more
I grew up going to the shack that used to be the original Jitty Joe?s on Lonesome Road (talk about aging myself). I now live on... the other side of the country, but one of the first things my kids want to do when we get to Gram and Pop?s house in Moosic isto stop at Jitty Joe?s and I am always happily oblige! Nowhere else has the selection/pricing that Jitty Joe?s does (althoughwe do enjoy many of his competitors as well) and - out west, I don?t even bother to get ice cream because I know it will be adisappointment. The girls working the counter are always so sweet as well. Please come to our tiny ski town in ID and open upan ice cream shop! Read more
