The Beef Dip is one of those things that once you've tried it, you might not want to order anything else. Delicious smoked... in-house brisket, bloomin onion, and garlic horseradish sauce were perfectly proportioned and the flavours complemented eachother well. I'm not sure there was Swiss cheese in my sandwich as the menu describes, but I didn't miss it. The ciabatta breadwas a good choice because it held up nicely to multiple dunks into the tasty herb & garlic au jus. I enjoyed this while sittingon their patio with a Mardi Gras Caesar that was garnished with a Cajun seasoning rim, pieces of pickled bean, dill pickle, apepperoncini, and an olive. I don't go out to eat often because I'm a good cook and most restaurants disappoint, not this place, there was 3 of us we had... beef nachos they were great, chicken wings were below average for me because I don't like any kind of breading on my wings. Ihad a Mexican dish it was excellent, the second person had fish and chips said it was pretty good, the third person had the hothamburger said it was pretty good too. The service was excellent. I don?t often do bad food reviews but feel this at this time is warranted, having experienced restaurants that charge $30 a meal... I expect a decent meal, first off the soup was a bit over room temperature but decent and great tasting, so really no issuethere. When our main course finally came the waitress basically threw the food in front of us and hurried off without asking ifwe needed anything else, having my son with me we received our meals at the same time and while his spicy fries were hot andcrispy mine were room temp and very uncrispy like they?ve been sitting out for a very long time. We had waitresses rush bywithout once refilling our water, I had to share my sons to actually get enough. The place seemed too busy to be able toaccommodate everyone and while I have had great experiences there in the past during non-busy times, the lunch hour today seemedalmost to busy for their staff to handle and take proper care of their customers. Really great food. You can tell they use fresh ingredients, including making most if not all of their sauces and dressings from... scratch. I had the best caesar salad I have had in a long time here. Stopped in for an early supper on our way back to Saskatoon. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess, and promptly seated in... the lounge. Very clean and inviting. Menu had a ton of choices. We had the Dano Burger (with brisket, onions, cheese, patty andmore) and the ribs/chicken platter. Both came out hot and fresh with fantastic flavour. The chilled mugs of draft beer weregreat too.
