Applebee's/Don Senor....food was ok...crazy that a Mexican restaurant can't cook their traditional dishes...
First of all this is not Mexican food you would find in southern California, Arizona or Mexico, but for Kentucky it is better... than some of the other Mexican restaurants. The salsa tastes like marinara and like a lot of Mexican restaurants in Kentuckythere's cheese sauce in the dishes. It would be amazing to find authentic Mexican food in Kentucky just haven't found it yet. Read more
Their salsa was terrible and tasted like it was made from ketchup. Never in my LIFE have I ever had salsa that was ketchup... based. It was disgusting. I'm sorry to leave such a bad review, bc it takes a LOT for me to do such a thing. I tried to smilepast the salsa, and it didn't help that my server was extremely rude for no reason to me. There was no reason for her to be asrude as she was. I ordered the chicken nachos, and they were really disappointing. The chicken hadn't been very shredded up soit was just giant chunks and it wasn't very hot. After I got up the courage to tell my server that I just didn't like theentree, she snapped at me and told me it "was not her problem and I need to tell management if I don't like it." Seriously the best Mexican food we have had in a long time.
My family was camping at Outpost near Cave Run and drove into Morehead for groceries. We saw Don Señor in passing and decided... to check out the menu. It took us longer to decide what the 4 of us wanted than it did to get the order ready. Incredibly fastservice! Plus they have us a large cup of ice for our dog. The food was delicious, and the portions were generous. The priceswere on par for every other Mexican restaurant we frequent. We had burritos and enchiladas. The salsa was really good! Normallymy daughter doesn't like restaurant salsa because it tends to be watery, but this was just right and more like a homemade salsa.My son had beef enchiladas for the first time ever, and he declared them a winning recipe. This place has maintained great food, low prices, and good service through the pandemic. My husband and I always stop here in... our way home to Philadelphia from Louisville and Lexington. We always order green salsa at Mexican restaurants. I think theyhave the best we?ve ever had. Read more

Absolutely love every experience i have had here. Best all around local eatery in Morehead. Me and my wife eat here regularly.... The staff gets to know u and they love communicating with the local regulars. Again, always excellent service and best Mexicanfood around. Read more
