Limited menu, but the service and cooking time is fast. The shrimp burger is on a plain burger bun, with the usual hamburger... style condiments. The shrimp are deep fried and we got them served hot, as were the hush puppies. Both were excellent. There'sno indoor seating, and the two waitresses were hustling, taking orders and serving. There are plenty of seagulls in thepartially shaded parking lot, which are free for the taking and all-you-can-eat. Don't feed them, or they will invite themselvesinto your window, for a more personal dining experience. Sandwiches, drinks, hush puppies totaled just under $20, and well worthit. Read more

First time visiting, I was a bit disappointed. I got a bacon cheeseburger and fries, the burger was just meh, with some kind of... sweet coleslaw that doesn?t even match well with the burger, fries were very soggy and greasy. There?s no prices listed on themenu outside, it was about $10 for a bacon cheeseburger, fries and a drink which wasn?t bad, I just wasn?t impressed with it atall. By the way, only cash is accepted. A very different type of drive-in restaurant it's strange, you have this big parking lot parking lot with trees and some picnic... benches . And then there's this very small building at the head of the parking lot, these ladies come trotting out to yourvehicle and ask you what you want you want, or they will hand you a menu and tell you to hang the menu out the window whenyou're ready to order, So what I decided to order after reviewing the menu the menu the double cheeseburger with coleslaw chiliand mustard an order of onion rings and a 0 sprite.This particular restaurant is a local landmark and mark known throughoutEastern North Carolina. You hear multiple people talk about the shrimp Burger the oyster Burger , but I decided to stick with anAmerican staple double cheeseburger with the works. I had a small shrimp burger, no slaw and a medium soda. Now they do have the good chewy ice. Prepare yourself for at least a 30... minute average wait. Food was decent....not excellent. $$$ for what you get. It's on the tourist to do list...but the pricingisn't nice. Read more
