Longhorn Steak House in Morehead City is a Fantastic place to go for Lunch and Dinner. The Menu is Vast. The Service is Great... and the Staff is Knowledgeable and Courteous. I love the Ground Hamburger Steak with the Mushrooms, Onions and Mashed Potatoes.My Family Members love the Steaks, Ribs, Shrimps and Onion Rings. I always ask them how was what they had. The food was good and service was good too. It is about what you can expect anywhere out of a chain Longhorn. Unlike most of the... restaurants in the area, service did not seem to be negatively impacted by staff shortages. We did have a piece of aluminum foilshow up in one of our salads. When brought to the attention of a manager, she apologized but nothing else was offered. One steakwas ordered medium well and came out medium rare. Other than that, all was well. Read more

longhorn steakhouse has always been my go-to for celebrating. I always order the stuffed mushroom appetizer and a filet with... asparagus. Tonight, I craved a REAL hamburger and fries. I wish I could give this review 5 stars. But unfortunately recieved a steak that was very burnt. It was so over cooked after... asking for medium rare that it was dry and tough. The excuse I was given was that the cook had a bunch of steaks and the grillgot away from him. If you know this happened why would you not check the steaks before serving them. Especially serving someonea burnt steak. Then offer them a new on and says it's going to take 30 minutes. Everyone else at the table would be done by thetime you got your steak. I will say the mac and cheese was amazing. That was the best part of my meal. The steak was okay. Theone that wasnt burnt came out rare as was asked. Had a little burnt flavor to it. Read more
We walked in at 2:30pm and waited 3-4 minutes for someone to greet us. When the hostess came up she said it would be a 10 minute... wait. All the tables were empty and the parking lot was empty. Poor service and poor attitude. Read more
