I?ll start with the positives. The food tasted great. That?s about it. I ordered online so I?m assuming eating in is a much... better experience. My sandwich had almost no meat on it. $13 for a sandwich isn?t exactly cheap but it is what it is. The macand cheese was on point! My fiancé had the brisket plate with slaw and baked beans. She said it?s ok. I kept checking the appto see what it would be delivered bc it was a long wait. 44min from time of order till food was picked up. Less than 2min afterfood was picked up it was delivered. I was 1 mile away stuck at work. Food was luke warm at best. I?ll give them another try butdefinitely only if I can eat in. Read more
Very good! Menu is varied with solid prices and serving sizes. Meat was juicy and flavorful and the Jalapeno BBQ sauce was... delicious. Plan to return and try some of the daily specials and other options! Read more
Service is ok, the place is pretty sticky, the windows are gross, and the Bathrooms are foul. The brisket is tough, and the... smoke is bitter. The coleslaw is salty and obviously fairly old and the beans are tough. I am underwhelmed and won?t be back. 2stars only because the girls at the counter were nice. Read more
The best BBQ you'll find near Morgan City. The loaded fries and brisket egg rolls are the best. The burgers are also pretty darn... good. But most of all. The BBQ is the BEST hands down. I've had Big Mike's in Houma/Thibodaux. And they do NOT compare to theBBQ served here. The brisket and ribs was juicy and tender and cooked beautifully in the wood fired BBQ just as advertised. This place was a great find! The BBQ was the real deal!! I had the Big Sloppy and a side of fries. It was really really good.... There were a lot of little things that were good that together made it an enjoyable experience. They have a jalapeno and maplesauce that is out of this world. The coleslaw was awesome. The bun that the sandwich came on was amazing even though I only atethe bottom half. The price was very reasonable. The service was pretty terrific as well. The only knock is the walls aresaturated with years of food smells and grease. It's not a dirty place but you can tell it hasn't been redone in a long time Youdefinitely take the smell with you when you go. I'll definitely go back next time I'm in the area. Read more
This is my go-to stop when I'm driving along US-90. Been there probably a dozen times. It's a small place, usually only a couple... of people working but the service is always good. The food is good to great depending on the visit. I recommend the ribs andbrisket. Fried mushroom is also pretty good. Read more
Went here for lunch with my boyfriend. I ordered the 1 meat plate with Pork Ribs. Comes with 2 sides so I got Mac and cheese and... potato salad. My boyfriend got the 2 meat plate with brisket and pulled pork. The food is omg so good!!!! Huge portions, sobring your appetite! The place is very clean, the staff incredibly friendly.
