They get a star for the margs. . food was absolutely awful. The chicken had zero flavor. Unless you call water a flavor. The... jalapenos didn't even have flavor. . they laughed when i grabbed my emergency hot sauce from the car to make my food have anytaste, not bothering to offer any. Not impressed. They were out of tea at 9:00 pm and not making more. They must have been short staffed. It took a long time for... someone to take our order and a king time for items to be delivered. The quest was way too spicy hot to eat, so it wasn?t eaten.They wanted to charge $4.00 for some cheese to be put on a baked potato!!! $4.00, that is highway robbery. The cheese enchiladaswere topped with the same hot spicy quest, so not eaten. There were 6 of us. The service was bad. Wait time horrible. And the18% tip was added on without my knowledge. Visited on a Monday for lunch, not busy at all. Super slow service. Food was bland, below average. Took nearly an hour to get... our food and several plates were wrong. Overheard nearby tables getting upset about the slow service. About 40 min afterordering, the server told me they didn't have what I ordered. Read more
I had the Mexican burger. Not sure what part was supposed to be Mexican. It had a slice of pepper Jack cheese, lettuce, tomato,... and pickle. No avocado anywhere in sight. The prices are steep. And the bathroom is a whole other conversation. The door to thetoilet stall is over 2 feet above the floor, leaving you visible from the navel down! Read more

Service was excellent! Our waitress was very quick and attentive. I had the Super Nachos. A little different from what I would... consider traditional nachos, but really good! I like that I could order a half order as I don't eat alot. Strawberry Margaritawas really good. A little lacking on the strawberry taste, but that was fine. The only complaint I have is that it was coldinside. Otherwise, I definitely recommend. Read more

I've been dining at the sister "store" in Morgan City for years - this was my first time to the Bayou Vista location. The menus... are nearly identical but not 100%. I've always been a fan of their Enchiladas Suissas (Green Enchiladas); my wife had a TacoSalad. We were not disappointed. And either location is a win. Read more
