Long story short, this place I have never been unhappy with them. But I placed a order by phone line I always do this time... it was a bigger order 5 plates. She told me 20 times so I got there in 15 minutes I paid she told me it would be a fewminutes so I waited for my number to be called it had been over 20 minutes and I asked what happened to my order theyasked the cooks she said it want out long time ago Sotheby's worker named Ron was calling the numbers and also putting the online orders to the side. He put my oder to the side it stayed there for 20 minutes it was already cold. So I asked to talkwith the manager she told me she wasn't there I said ok so there has to be someone in charge can I talk with them again shetold me there was no one in charge They said they will be happy to warm it , I told them I paid over 65.00 dollars I don'twant rewarded food. SO I was mad took it home and one of the orders was wrong so my son took it back and at that time he askedto talk with someone in charge d they got some from the back office she came out and said she was in charge. Very tasty. I ordered the seafood combo, and enjoyed every bite. The fish was (in my opinion) better than traditional British... fried fish. Shrimp were crisp, teriyaki chicken thighs on point. It came with a small side of macaroni salad, rice cabbageslices and broccoli. Wait time was about 10 minutes, not bad since there were about 7 other people jonesing for some Hawaiianbbq. My server was Yahaira, she was very rude, unprofessional. But it's probably because management and coworkers all act the same. I... spent $35.72 on 3 meals. She told me my order was wrong because I wasn't clear, I asked for salad and she gave me greens, eventhough I did ask for extra salad dressing and was told I'd pay extra and I agreed to, HUGE DIFFERENCE. Tried Ono Hawaiian BBQ and did NOT disappoint with the taste and amount served. Granted, the most affordable meal is at a... $11.49 to the least affordable at close to $15. I sprouted for the $11.59 meal, which is the "BBQ Mix" meal. It came with 3meats. Description: BBQ Chicken (Flat Skirt), Beef (Flat Skirt) and Short Ribs on a bed of blanched Cabage with some Steamed AlDente Broccoli. Comes with a side of Mac Salad (Macaroni, Mayo, Carrots and the special ingredient: Tuna Fish). I know, right?And a side of White Rice. The meats were very tender a d the BBQ it was cooked in, was mild but distinctive. The veggies werelightly cooked, which meant for some chew. The second high-light aside from the Meats was the Mac Salad w/ Tuna. A light tasteof Tuna, not overwhelming, but enough that tells my taste buds that "I am here at the party" and the Mac was perfectly cooked ad this entire meal was very fulfilling. This place was a delightful change than the mom 'n pop cafe's that I typically like tovisit. Dispite not having a Military or Veterans Discount on the meal, I would not mind having again if and when theopportunity that a work project brings me out to Morgan Hill again. Read more
Usually quick service, island fire chicken is a nice spicy meal. The veggies option makes the meal healthier and lower cal than... with the macaroni salad. Tables are cleaned regularly. Read more
