We decided to head over to Mohi Social for some drinks and appetizers. Elizabeth made it a night to remember. She was attentive,... but also left us to conversation. The Love Potion drink was delicious and a cool visual. The music was a great vibe. We haddelicious small plates and a romantic night. To top it off, Elizabeth lit the fire pit in our table! Beautiful set up with lots of space and outdoor seating but service was lacking. I know places are short staffed so I try to... give Grace but we never saw our server after our food came out (flagged her down for check). The food and drinks were delicious.The parmesan fries could of used more cheese for $15 (it was only on top). The bartender messed up our fuego shots but broughtus a round of free ones which was nice! The new manager stopped by to check on us. Look closely at their review distribution. It’s almost an inverted bell curve which typically indicates they paid for 5 star... reviews. I had brunch here and found out why. Firstly, there is a 19% included service charge on any party with 4 or morepeople. This means your server will do the absolute least and still get a guaranteed tip of almost 20%. I ordered pancakes andit didn’t come with syrup, when I asked if it included syrup I was asked if I wanted syrup and I said yes. They charged meextra on the bill for the syrup. They are built in a parking structure which is all open air seating so there is no aircondition and it can get hot in Morgan Hill. A tip if you do end up coming here is to scan the QR code which is only found onsome of the menus. Some are just completely missing it. The menu they provide will not have all the items offered, maybe 50% ofthe full menu. I’d also ask to be seated in the garage area because the roadside seating has cars passing and if you don’tenjoy exhaust fumes while you eat then you’ll be better suited inside. The food wasn’t bad and typically I would giveanother star or two for that aspect but unfortunately today they had a system issue and most of our food didn’t come out (atall). I recently celebrated a huge milestone in my cancer journey at MOHI Social. I have been beating the odds and survived stage 4... cancer for the last 5 years. I wanted to pay forward my blessings and celebrate my 5th Cancerversary in a meaningful way. Idecided to fundraise for a nonprofit cancer organization near and dear to my heart. I wanted a venue that would be as amazingand memorable as overcoming the challenges I have had to face during my battle. I originally wanted to have the party in theoutdoor terrace area at MOHI but when I saw the newly opened Champagne Room, there was no way I could settle for anything less!It is jaw dropping in there! I knew the food would be great since I have visited for happy hour and dinner before. But I wouldhave to say their drinks are show-stoppers and so delicious with a fun and upbeat ambience! I am so glad that I chose MOHI! Ihave to admit it was way over my budget. But if you want a high quality and extravagant experience, this venue will notdisappoint. The venue coordinator, Christina was on point at every level with consistent professionalism, responsiveness, andexecution. She was kind, patient and genuinely seemed to care about how much the celebration meant to me. The planning wentfairly smoothly. Everything is in-house so it’s pretty much a one-stop shop. There was only one hiccup. I wanted to have aslideshow and the venue didn’t use a compatible program. That was bit stressful because that was really important to me tohave for my guests. However, Christina tried her best to work with me to problem solve. The night of the party went off withouta hitch. The venue was stunning. The florals were breathtaking. Food was ok, service was ok but it's because they only had 1 server for the whole patio she was good but slow because she was by... herself. This is a better drinking spot then eatery. Read more
