One of my coworkers took me here to eat. Parking is towards the back of the Joint. I tried taking as many photos of the place... for your viewing. The place is very spacious, clean and comfy. The waiter was very friendly, approachable and interactive whentaking our orders. The food was delicious and tasty. I ordered the 3 meat skillet. My coworker ordered the steak and eggs. Ihave to say the steak was a nice size and a reasonable portion. Overall, i really enjoyed the experience, the ambience, And thewonderful service. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for some good affordable breakfast. I am planning on takingmy wife here and see what she thinks... Let's see what you think after going! Read more
We've been eating here pretty consistently over the last few months and I can confidently say that Papa's is one of THE best... diners in Morgan Hill. The food is consistently delicious and the staff is all wonderful (special shout outs to Sonya, Jamie,and Ray), even the cooks! Their Mexican breakfasts are awesome, *especially* the chiliquiles. I'm pretty sure the red sauce ismade with roasted garlic, which really adds another level of depth to its flavor. 10/10 would recommend. Their pancakes arefluffy and moist, their eggs soft & buttery (even their omelettes!) The burgers are juicy and packed with fresh produce, thefrench fries are thick-cut, skin-on and always crispy. The potato salad is fit for any summer picnic. They also serve mimosasand we love the strawberry (made with fresh strawberries) and cranberry versions. Update 8/17/22: Still fantasticallydelicious! Update 11/07/22: Their server Ray was hit by a car on 10/22 and they're asking for donations to help him withhospital bills. They're a wonderful team that treat each other like family. We tried out papas place for the first time and we were not disappointed. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, all the staff... was friendly, funny and had great music playing. (Not loud) The staff gave us suggestions for our food and told us some of thefavorite dishes they serve. Everything we got was so good!!! French toast was delicious, our food came out at a reasonable timeand everything was hot and fresh. Definitely going back and prices are not bad either. Read more
Great place with good food, good service, and good coffee! We ordered the huevos rancheros and french toast and both were... excellent. We were so excited to eat that we forgot to take a picture of our food. Will definitely be coming back! Read more
This place is great & offers more variety than just breakfast did. I got the chilaquiles and at first had to send them back for... being cold but they redeemed themselves the second time around. They were so good I had to order another to go. Mimosas weregreat, no complaints there! Grapefruit, strawberry pineapple, and regular strawberry were all delicious and well made. Read more
Walking down the main street in Morgan Hill, I one day decided to check out Papa's Place & am so glad I did! Thanks to my... server, Sonia (who was wonderful by the way) recommended the chorizo scramble & so glad I listened because it was delicious!!There were several options as to how I wanted to have it whether with hash browns, country potatoes or refried beans but what Iloved is I could get 2 half orders to equal my 1 selection so that is what you see in my pic. The other thing that I appreciatedwas it came with two types of salsa including a delicious avocado salsa...normally in other places I seem to get more of pico degallo style so when I saw that as a selection is was such a pleasant surprise & made my dish even tastier!! I found out thisused to be Just Breakfast until the new Owner, Brandi Zavaleta opened Papa's Place earlier this year. She also told me thetouching story behind her new place & am so grateful she shared the meaning behind the name and why you may feel so muchfatherly love when you enter...Brandi & her dad were going to run this together as a team when he suddenly passed only 2 monthsafter they signed the lease...I myself lost my dad years ago unexpectedly so when I heard her story, I felt somehow our dadshelped connect us so we could hear each other's story & more importantly introduce me to this great breakfast/lunch place rightin the heart of Morgan Hill...now after reading this you hopefully you will also want to go & see why it is so perfectly calledPapa's Place :) Read more
Might be my favorite new place in Morgan Hill! The quality for the price cannot be matched. Skillets are amazing. The steaks... and eggs were delicious as well. Im always trying to cut carbs, so they were able to swap out the potatoes and toast for cottagecheese. Definitely try their home made salsa. I will be back to make my way down their menu! Read more
This was awful. My grits were not grits, they were a crunchy, uncooked mess. I also ordered the southern breakfast. It was cold,... the biscuits were hard, & the bacon was undercooked. Read more
