Tried something different today that wasn't a winner. That's okay that's what exploring is about. The service continues to... degrade. The baristas seem to be on some kind of control mission rather than providing service. I've noticed this with manyother people and experienced it myself. I've exhausted my funds reserved on the pizza count and will discontinue attending. There's so much stress in the world today you don't need to have it when you want a cup of coffee :-) Read more

I personally prefer peets coffee over Starbucks. And it smells amazing the minute you walk in staff is super helpful, polite,... and get drinks out very quickly. Plus their coffee is delicious. One home brew that I can't ever live without is the peet'scoffee is the major dickason k cups or the ground coffee in bulk. Read more

First time here and first time at a Peet's Coffee in general. Full disclosure: I used to work at a law firm that got Peet's... coffee by the truckload. (A bit of an exaggeration, yes, but not by much.) Every day, I'd come to work, and the place justsmelled as if it were a coffeehouse! Of course, lawyers are famous for working through the night and needing coffee on IV dripsto get through late-night powwows. And Peet's reigned at my law firm. But the coffee always smelled so STRONG that I never daredtry it. (I'm a coffee weakling. I admit it! I do decaf and like it sweet and light--NOT dark, strong, and thick aspetrol!) However, I was there to meet a young lady whom I was asking to do the cover art for my upcoming novel. She's in highschool and not a professional, but she is a TRULY talented artist. I love to meet people who have talent and passion and see ifthere's any way I can get them in the spotlight with/for their talent. And my book cover, I'd hope, would be a great way toshowcase her talent. (And, yes, I intend to pay her. So this would be her first professional gig, and I can say one day, "Well, you know, of course, that I was her first paying client!" (I'm actually not certain she intends to go into art as a career orjust keep it her hobby.)) And she (thankfully) agreed to do the job! Yay! Anyhow, she lives in a different city, so Peet's washer choice for a meeting place that was centrally located between us. I got there early and ordered the hibiscus tea (servedcold)! Yum! I LOVE hibiscus tea! And this had a WONDERFUL flavor. Very refreshing. The people working at Peet's were friendlyand QUICK! My tea was ready before I'd returned my wallet to my purse! Anyhow, now that I know Peet's has hibiscus tea, I'll beback. And MAYBE one day I'll work up the courage to try their coffee. Maybe if professional baristas make it (and not a group oflawyers), it'll be better. Anyhow, I can't stand Starbucks coffee, so Peet's would have a loyal customer in m Read more
