I have to update my review here after six months. The quality has gone down clearly. The place was probably understaffed today.... The pizza was made in such a hurry and not baked properly. It was not turned so it almost burnt on one side and it was not bakedfully on the other. The cuts were all over the place, and the pizza didn?t even smell like a pizza since there was so littlesauce. Again I think probably since there was only one person making pizzas. ???????????- 6 months ago: The best create yourown pizza !! So many vegetarian options and cheeses including Ricotta. This review is almost 6 years in the making. I moved to Morgan Hill in October of 2018 and have been going to this establishment... pretty much since I arrived. I've had Blaze Pizza, Mod Pizza, and Pieology (I moved up from Orange County so I've had prettymuch the big names when it comes to made-to-order pizza). I want to make it clear that I have no ill intentions towards thislocation; however, I feel it is my duty to inform others of my bad service I've received here. My first 4 years, I loved thisplace. Staff was nice, food was great, no issues. In 2020 I made an order and came to find that the store was closed and I couldnot receive my order. On Oct 24, 2020, I received an email from Jose from Pieology apologizing for the mishap and promising 4coupons for free pizzas. I provided my mailing address as he requested; never received the coupons. Fast forward to August 2021.I ordered two pizzas, both vegan, both thick crust. Alejandro took my order over the phone (they seem to often have issues withtheir online ordering system). When I came home I noticed one of them wasn't thick crusted and made a note to message Pieologythe following day as it was late. The following day I messaged Jose and told him a) I never received the coupons and b) that thepizza I ordered was wrong because it didn't have a thick crust. He apologized and said he would send out the coupons, but didn?tacknowledge the pizza?s lack of thickness. It wasn't until later in the day that I realized, after eating maybe 1/3 of one ofthe pizza, that the non-thick pizza actually had real sausage and real cheese (I am vegan). I was horrified. I left a message onthe Pieology website this time instead of emailing Jose. I went to the store and showed the pizza and the person who helped mejust looked at me and said "what do you want me to do about it, you ate most of it." I. Love. This. Place! Went there for the 1st time last night. Its pretty cool. You make your own pie! You pick your crust type... & they grab the dough & make it right then & then you go thru a "buffet" line & puck out all your toppings. The prices weregreat & we really enjoyed the pizza we custom made for ourselves! So good! Read more
The dining room was closed, but we were able to eat outside, so that's a plus. The workers were very friendly and put a ton of... toppings on the pizzas, so I can't complain about that ;) I do think that they are the best of the "fast fire" pizza places. Read more
Like other Pieology locations, the food is solid. However, the service deserves a special call-out here. Polite, courteous,... responsive, and quick. These folks were on it. Read more
Bought 5 pizzas Labor day evening. The manager abandoned the only other worker while a large crowd came through. While trying to... do everything, this one worked burned the bottom of one of the pizzas I ordered. When asking for some simple compensation forthe burned pizza the manager said we had already eaten some of it so they won't do anything to make it up. Yeah. We onlyrealized it was burnt after we ate some of it. This place is one of my kids' favorite place to eat. Best way to describe it is like going into a Togo's or Subway. All fresh... ingredients in front of you (behind glass of course) and they make your pizza to order in front of you. Then pop it in a brickoven and it takes roughly 10 mins depending on the thickness of your crust and amount of toppings. They have a dessert churropizza that is good, but the next day the bread is hard ???? Staff is usually pretty friendly and decently accommodating. Theyhave a rewards program as well for regulars like us. Would definitely recommend to anyone who likes pizza. ???? Read more
