Went on a Saturday morning. It was busy but we didn't have to wait too long. Server was nice but busy. Food was good.
Out of town family members visiting for the weekend and Cracker Barrel served up a great meal. From the all day breakfast... selection of pancakes with strawberries, eggs and grits. To the dinner selections of lemon peppered rainbow trout. It was hardto beat. Prior to being seated, we played checkers all the well rocking in the famous rockers on the front porch. While theattentive waitress took our order, we enjoyed the many antiques hanging on the walls. You simply need to stop in to eat andenjoy this iconic restaurant. We all enjoyed our meal at Cracker Barrel! They always have good food & usually good service. The only reason I gave this one a... 4 star rating is because the waitress wasn't very good about remembering some of the things we added for like more gravy. Shebrought after I was done eating! She said she was going to refill drinks & would be right back to do that. We left before weever got those refills. That's just poor service, & it could be that they were shorthanded with help, but no one mentionedanything like that. Otherwise, we were all happy with our food, the prices were reasonable (although the have gone up a little),and most of the service was good! I always highly recommend Cracker Barrel for a good meal in a good atmosphere! And you don'twant to miss checking out their store either! Enjoy! Read more
Let me start by saying my server was awesome! Great energy and very attentive. So i recommend asking for Rebekah! Now to the... food. The burger was good for the price. We were seated within 10 minutes of our arrival. Our waitress introduced herself, took our drink orders and returned soon after... with our beverages. We had to exchange two for something different and placed our food order when our new drinks were broughtout. The food came out quickly and it was nearly perfect. Our waitress was extremely patient, attentive and friendly. Aftereating we enjoyed some leisurely shopping in the Old Country Store where we encountered another employee who was more than happyto help us with our purchases. We?ll definitely be back! Read more
First off I want to say that the service was fine and the restaurant was busy and I've no problem with the staff. With that said... though my meatloaf was horrible. I was craving their meatloaf. I've eaten it many times in the past and loved it but today ittasted like a week old meat pattie that was reheated in a microwave. I will try again eventually but right now the food isseriously lacking. The waiter was great though and was quick to discount the meal. Kudos to him for being so understanding. Read more
