Tidy and organized location. Always tasty food made to order. A typical small dining area for a subway. The staff was an... interesting sight to behold. The young lady at the register was personable, courteous and proficient. The gentleman working theline and preparing the food was less so. He seemed distracted and disinterested. Picking up leftover bread, he took a large biteof the bread right there on the line. It was an unfortunate display of being unprofessional. Some may think that not accepting coupons isn?t a big deal. However, what that says to me is the owner of this franchise is a... cheapskate. They would rather have the extra $2 in their pocket than potentially have a loyal customer come back. Well, I cansay with all honesty that it?s enough for me to never return back to this subway. The subway corporation shouldn?t allow afranchise owner to not accept company coupons. When you have a franchise, you are representing that company and their standards.Shame on you owner, whoever you are, for being so greedy. Read more

As an independent franchise owner myself I understand the decisions that could lead to cost cutting measures. Coupons at a... nationally recognized food chain should always be accepted. If I get a coupon for a $2off a sandwich in the mail, then go to therestaurant because of the meal; should I not be frustrated when they don't accept the coupon? Food was good service was Good I ask this wonderful girl who made my food if she would accept a one week late coupon she said... yes. We proceed with the order when some big football looking guy comes up interrupts with a blurt we can't accept that. Embarrassed the employee and myself. Not cool that extra .87 cents did not mean as much to me as it did to him and the senoirlady who asked me to use the coupon for her. Could have been nicer about it. Still I got half the sub for going . I will nottell senoir lady I paid the extra. That would have been a 1 star rating after listening to her calling and rasing cane over thebuck. I'm a delivery person. The food I pick up is not for me. i'm getting paid for each delivery. That means my time is money, my... livelihood. The young lady was the only one working tonight. She was clearly overwhelmed. I understand and empathise. I haveworked retail as a manager so I know. The first time I walked in she had a line of people. I told her I had a takeout orderand she told me I had to wait for her to get done with all of them. I left to deliver another order that was supposed to bedelivered at the same time. I came back afterwards and she told me the same thing. With a line full of people I'm told I'mbeing put at the back of the line again So I had to wait in line for an order taken over an hour before I got there. Missingseveral deliveries I could have taken. She was upset and all the people in line were being nice and empathetic towards her. I'msure they'd feel differently if they were forced to wait longer for their orders like I was. Very sweet lady but she doesn'tseem to know how to prioritize the orders that are made in the correct order. I'm sure she wouldn't want to work for free forover an hour like she made me do. Read more
