Cool atmosphere. We were there prior to WVU homecoming parade, so it was packed! Service was very slow and the limited menu,... given crowd size, was down to pub apps. Drunken mushrooms are amazing. Food took awhile to get but it was made to order so it was very fresh and hot. The patty melt was... pretty darn good. And the French fry sauce was very tasty and interesting. Read more
Don't waste your time. Servers didn't seem to know what they were doing, took a half hour to get cold food. Multiple parties... left because everyone just sat around waiting to get a server to their tables. Every time we needed something we had to go findsomeone. May as well been a self serve place. We were seated immediately and the waitress brought our drinks and took our food order right away. I ordered fried pickles and... hubby got nachos for starters. The nachos were in a huge bowl and overflowing with toppings, which he loved, both of us gotboneless wings that were amazing. They had a guitarist who was also singing songs, it had a nice ambiance and college kids mostly groups. They also offered... billiard tables $1 each game and sack game. We enjoyed our time there. Read more
This is such a disappointment. Worst experience I can remember. came here from out of state after my son?s campus tour. Food... came out cold. Terrible. See picture of wings. It?s bad. Everyone working at Almost Heaven were dressed nicely, interacted positively with customers, orders were taken and delivered in... a timely manner, and the place is clean. The restrooms were obviously attended to on a regular basis. Impressive! Read more
