I’ve ordered from Great Wall for years.. I don’t understand why they don’t have a better rating. The food is awesome as is... the service. One night I called and didn’t realize that they’d be closing in the next 20 minutes..the man that took my callassured me that it wasn’t a problem and brought my order personally. I believe he was even the owner. With all that garbageAsian food out there like Panda Express, you can’t go wrong ordering here! I recommend their shrimp mei fun. Read more
This place is disgusting. They moved from across the street rather that clean the old building. When their 12 inch duct work was... removed there was less that a 1 inch diameter hole down the middle. A sea of rats covered the basement floor because they wouldthrow their garbage down the stairs. If you value your health do not eat here. Go grave in your back yard, or eat some dirt androcks, it'll taste better, and be better for you. Read more
We moved to Morgantown from the Portland, OR area where we had an amazing go-to Chinese restaurant. Great Wall surpassed our... expectations and will be our local place from this point on. Each of us ordered something different and we were all very happywith everything. The standouts were the Egg Rolls, Steamed Dumplings, and Cheese Wantons. I ordered the Sesame Chickencombination; it was by far the best I had ever eaten, including the steamed broccoli garnish and Pork Fried Rice. Generous servings of tofu, near perfect firmness, one of the best white rice preparations I've had, beef came out great.... Mushroom egg foo yung was fried a healthy amount and not overdone; the meal wasn't heavy on my stomach either. Can nevercomplain about service at Asian restaurants they know the business too well. This is a authentic Chinese restaurant, it tastes delicious and real Chinese taste. They also offer lunch specials $7.95 which... includes soup of your choice. The food was so DELICIOUS!!!! We went in around 10 and they graciously made us fresh food that was still piping hot when we... opened the containers when we got back home. I have been to only one other Chinese restaurant where the rice had bamboo shootsand this rice was worth the price! It was perfectly seasoned and the onions, eggs, and bamboo shoots were all correctly cookedadding to the mirage of flavors in the rice. The chicken is covered completely is sauce and moist in the middle making itpleasant with the sticky white rice. I was nervous going in and ordering but the little lady at the front was nice and helpfulwhen I ordered. The owner came out and answered the phone later on and sounded like a normal restaurant owner. After the guy onthe phone rudely ended their conversation she talked to my boyfriend and I very nicely despite what had happened. Overall Iwould definitely go back. Read more
