Noel and I went to another Vietnamese restaurant but it was closed so I was able to locate this restaurant via Yelp App. It was... only about 5 miles from where we were but unfortunately back to near where we started. Located near the hospital complex. Theparking lot was empty so we thought this one was closed too...but thank goodness they were open. We went inside where they hadexamples of the bowl sizes on display along with menus. The instructions said to find a table that was available and turn ourdisplay to show taken. To figure out what we wanted, then go to kiosk place order and pay. They will bring our food out.Everything was pretty self explanatory. Is this the way it's done overseas? Noel and I both chose Beef Pho, shared some springrolls with peanut dipping sauce and I got a unsweetened bottled tea and Noel went with a Strawberry Bubble Tea with a milk basedflavoring. It was a jelly textured bubble in her drink, too sweet for me. We went to salad bar and got our Cilantro, Thaibasil, spices, bean sprouts and jalapenos. This was to put in our medium bowls of Pho. The food was very good. I'm still tryingto learn how to use chopsticks. The fried garlic spice was good. The Pho was amazing and we had plenty to take home as leftoversbut the spring rolls were horrible. The wrappers were like a rubbery covering, very thick and rubbery. I couldn't handle thetexture of it. So, I broke it open and put into my Pho bowl. The food was good enough to go back again. I definitely want totry the Banh Mi sandwich, especially the grilled on!!! $2 for soy sauce now.. 100% increase over a week. Come on.. Reply: No we always come in and order. We (group of 4-8 people)... used to come in twice a week for a few years. We have seen how your price drastically increase, and portions drasticallydecrease, (inflation/supply chain I get it) and now it's once a week. You used to give a large container of soy sauce for $1,which was enough so I didn't mind paying it. Last week it was $1 for half of a small container or soy sauce. Yesterday, at yourrestaurant it was $2 for 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, which was the final straw. It's interesting how the prices of your foodkeep increasing (upwards of 40-50%). Other restaurant in town, such as volcano have raised prices ONCE and they're buying sushigrade fish, not low grade cuts of beef to make broth. In my eyes you're using inflation as an excuse to gouge people. Read more

I had a moment of severe homesickness for Pho , as there aren't many authentic Asian cuisine restaurants. Only weird hybrid... hibachi. Finding food made by a chef in from NoVa was an amazing bit of kismet. I used to eat in Eden center all the time! Phois my go to comfort food. A huge round of applause bringing this taste of diversity to Morgantown. Try this place , you won'tregret it. Read more

Warning from a Pho expert: Scam with the MEAT!!!! Stay away from their Pho Tai (S1 selection, sliced beef steaks soup... noodles)!!! I ordered a beef steak pho today and got this cooked white meat. In their description, this soup noodles should bewith rare to medium cooked beef slices meat, they are totally cooked, that?s not the biggest problem, but white meat serving socalled ?steak slices?!?!? I asked them to bring the raw steak slices out, the minute I looked at them, I thought they are pork,YES, PORK, pink color meat. Of course I couldn?t just put those raw meat in, so I ate one piece of those fully cooked in my bowland I knew it?s not beef, nothing taste like beef meat, more like dried overcooked and tasteless pork. The soup with beefshouldn?t be that clear and tasteless, because beef meat are more juicy. Super disappointed, I don?t mind they don?t speakEnglish, but please serve what it?s said on the menu. The food was great! My friend got pho and I got a Bahn mi chicken sandwich, which was delicious. They had a little buffet spot... to get bean sprouts and various veggies to add to the soups. Also the service set up was really convenient: you order at a kioskand input your table number then they bring your food to you. We got ours super quick; there were very few other guests and wewent at about 3 on a Saturday. Other reviews say this is the best pho in WV, and I can't say I disagree -- though I think itmight also be the only pho in WV... still. Overall, very pleased! Read more

Vacationing in Morgantown and found this restaurant while trip planning. I ordered $30 worth of food because I wanted to try so... many dishes. I got the lettuce wrapped chicken egg rolls, spicy beef noodle soup and Durian coconut sticky rice. I was expectinga lot more lettuce for the lettuce wrapped chicken egg rolls. I guess I was supposed to get the lettuce from the self serve bar.My mistake considering my first time here. The spicy beef noodle soup is so spicy! ???? Lol. I expected pho noodles but I gotthe round noodles which reminds me of spaghetti noodles. I prefer rice noodles, pho, or any flat noodles. I can taste the bonemarrow in the broth. The Durian coconut sticky rice was a disappointment and false advertising! It looks nothing like the photosand I got one decent size chunk and the rest was raisin size, if that. Definitely not worth 8.95!! I think ordering take out,some restaurants take advantage of the opportunity to give lower quality food considering the customer is less likely to comeback with the food. It's interesting that the menu has some default items and give the option to customize if you like. I don'tplan on coming back, but if I do, maybe I will try the sandwiches.
