We had an amazing afternoon this past Sunday. MAMBO LOCO , our favorite Salsa Band, was the event so 6 of us decided to check... out this restaurant for the 1st time. The place is in a lovely setting, the food was great, our waitress was attentive and wedanced on the patio. Hoping La Buena Vita has MAMBO LOCO back for more, especially New Years Eve!!! Read more

We went mushroom picking at a nearby farm on Barnes Road before stopping at La Buena Vida. The outside of the restaurant was... unassuming. It has a parking lot. We walked in with no reservation and was greeted warmly right away. Our server was friendlyand cheerful. Gave us time to look through the menu while getting our drinks. We ordered tapas sampler, grilled octopus,mussels in garlic-wine sauce, a cheese board and Paella to share. Everything came out pretty and delicious. Read more

My husband and I had our two youngest granddaughters for some after school Christmas shopping, and when we asked them where... they’d like to eat dinner they related “that place where we sat outside with the empanadas and chicken and chips”. When weasked “La Buena Vida”?, they excitedly replied “that’s it!!”. We arrived at LBV to see Nile and Samantha in the house,and sat at a favorite table. We picked the mentioned tapas, as well as a few other favorites: the goat cheese and bacon dates,grilled octopus and grilled lamb chops; except for the dates, the girls enjoyed at least a bite of everything with pleasure! Andthe chocolate mousse and NY cheesecake were absolute hits! Chef Luis and his kitchen team prepare these small plates quickly anddeliciously, Nile makes a fine cocktail and Samantha is attentive, very friendly and represents the house expertly. My husbandand I have also dined alone, and the ‘grown-ups’ meals on the menu have always been delicious. We look forward to adultdining, but as grandparents it’s always a special treat to see our 11 and 8 year olds enjoying a meal with us. Boyfriend and I were gifted a gift card for this place and I’m so happy we learned about it. Everything was great. From the... food to the service. Our server was very attentive and so sweet. The chef even came out to see how we were enjoying everythingduring our meal. We had the sampler and the surf and turf for two and everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly!
