Lovely accidental find. Loved the biscuits, homemade and ginormous!! Friendly efficient service in a cute open space.. small... busy local place decorated with vintage pics of the area...and birdhouses!! One less star bec my hash browns were cold andbarely fried, kinda dusty and white....eggs were overcooked...but the coffee was strong good and made up for the cooks offmorning, which happens in such a busy place. No biggie, my friend loved loved her breakfast of biscuits and gravy. Yay forthat!! Read more

We don't have many choices of places to eat in Morongo Valley, so we're lucky to have such a good one. The homemade salsa is... delicious (I prefer the green one - so fresh). The banana crunch french toast is everything you could want from banana crunchfrench toast and more. Everything is fresh and made to order with generous portions. Service is super friendly. The salads looked like a toddler put them together using Kraft sliced cheese and waaaay over priced to boot! The burgers our... kids got were ok? until we looked at this burger from some leftovers from this place and saw these little bubble beads????? Orsomething?? They look like tapioca beads used as filler for meat? we found them in day old leftovers??? Avoid!! Read more

Yum! Great cafe to stop at for breakfast. Food was delicious and fast and friendly service. Cafe is clean and there is ample... parking. We drive here to get away from the busy Joshua Tree restaurants. Seems like a local fav too. Read more

I have a rule about any kind of potato sides: If they are good, I salt them, if they are okay, I dip them in ketchup. The ?home... fries,? however, I consumed without any condiments or seasoning because they were that good. The omelette I ordered wasdefinitely on point as well, and it is always a pleasant surprise when a simple side of toast is as delectable as the maincourse. Well done. Read more

Really great spot for breakfast/brunch/lunch! Good prices and portions, and everything is cooked really well (almost healthy,... too). The hash browns and homefries aren't greasy at all and are super crispy and the chicken fried steak isn't really fried, but rather lightly breaded and then griddled. Coffee was just okay. The biscuits and gravy was also very good - a generousportion for the single, with good, thick sausage gravy and a pillowy biscuit. Would definitely recommend! Read more

My wife and I just visited the Morongo Valley Cafe for the first time in about a year. They're food was fresh and on time to the... table. I had ordered a bacon cheeseburger with beer battered onion rings and my wife ordered a ham and cheese sandwich withsweet potato fries. Mine did not come with the bacon, but the waitress apologized and brought the bacon out on discount evenafter I said just the cheeseburger was enough, as it was very delicious! Very kind staff and the environment was welcoming.Totally rate a 6/5 stars! Read more
