We hadn't been there for several years now so last night (on a whim) we went to Forest Inn because we were both in the mood for... a steak. The parking lot looked crowded but we were seated straight away. Had a good waitress, and the steaks were fantastic. Mywife had the filet mignon, I had the peppercorn steak. Wonderful dining experience. Food is delicious. By the time we were done with are salad bar and appetizers we were to full to... eat our main dishes. They will be lunch today. We may have spent $25 apiece for dinner but we will get 2 meals out of it. Read more

This place exceeded our expectations! We made reservations a few hours before it opened and were able to get our table soon... after arriving. The salad bar is amazing. All fresh and delicious. Beautiful atmosphere and friendly staff. Our waitress, Tracywas very knowledgeable and fast. Read more
We arrived a ½ hour after they opened on a Saturday night and the parking lot was pretty full. The restaurant is handicap... accessible once you get in the front door, but you have to be able to open the door without help. When we went in we told themthere were 3 of us and we had a reservation and we still had to wait to be seated. The lady at the register was not friendly anddefinitely not welcoming especially if you didn't have a reservation so I would recommend calling ahead for a reservation. Ourserver was right on top of things and did a good job making sure our food came out hot, fresh and just how we ordered it. Thefood was very good. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms, a ½ chicken with baked potato, and a whole rack of ribs also with abaked potato. The meals included a very nice salad bar and a bread basket. Prices are right in line with all the nicerrestaurants in the area. Read more
