Great tasty food, and so many vegan options!! We got the falafel bowl and the vegan falafel burger and were super happy with... this decision! The falafel burger was super flavorful and the sweet potato fries were crispy and delicious! One thing I will sayis the pita chips were not cooked enough and some of the pieces were straight pita bread. Maybe need a longer toast time forthose The food was absolutely delicious and filling. It's just ok. I ordered a bowl and overall it tasted good but the portion is a little small, not sure if this is because I... ordered ahead for pickup. My base was couscous and mixed greens and there was only a very small portion of couscous buried underthe greens. It seems each topping is also strictly portion controlled as there was not a lot of any one topping. The hummusscoops looked to be from a cookie dough sized scoop. The bowl was a little over half full and costs about $14. Even so it's atasty light lunch option. Read more
Meh. I have still yet to find decent Middle Eastern food in Morris County. I grew up eating Middle Eastern food, from Lebanese,... to Israeli, to Turkish, Syrian, etc. maybe I have too high expectations. I ordered a catered office lunch. Got chicken Shawarmaand falafel wrap sampler?s as well as a appetizer platter. Falafel was not fresh and dry. Hummus was dry and pasty. Where?s toum(garlic sauce?) or hot sauce? Ugh. We love love love this place! I remember when we found them on the South street few days after they opened since then this is... our favorite place to get lunch. Food always delicious, ingredients are fresh and a lot of choices (vegan, vegetarian). Ifyou?re looking for good healthy food for takeout, this place is exactly what you need! Try their pita with eggplant hummus,shawarma chicken and chopped salad(also you can choose as many toppings as you want)! Went here two nights in a row. Food is amazing! I got a bowl both times. The dolmas are very good and you get a pita with the... bowl along with lots of toppings. Service is great. Food is even better. You have to try the lemonades especially turmeric andcucumber jalapeño! Unreal! Great addition to Morristown Read more
The food was amazing, but the service was frustrating. I'm pretty sure my visit was an exception and the service is usually... fine. The thing was, it took a while for someone to start helping me. Then, as I was saying what I wanted, the phone rang andthe person behind the counter was on the phone for 3-4 minutes. (apparently it was the manager.) OK not the end of the world.Then, again as I was trying to put in an order, someone else in the store who works there interrupted me. All right, sure. Iasked for vegan beef but they needed to replenish it. Okay, no biggie. But it took 2-3 minutes. Keep in mind, the person who wasserving me was very nice, but it was FRUSTRATING to be repeatedly interrupted. Then the person placed my bowl in the bag withoutfully closing the lid, AND forgot to give me the pita bread; another person noticed it and gave it to me. They'd just had a rushfrom what I was told. I get that. But it was just frustrating to not be able to put in an order for 5-7 minutes (a conservativeestimate) despite being the only customer in the store. Maybe I'm being petty even leaving this review. I don't know. But thatwas my experience. If I go again, I'm going to try to go DURING a rush, not after one. Read more
