Excellent authentic Cuban food! We dined here last month on our way to Europe. We spent the night in an area hotel, so I looked... beforehand for a good restaurant for dinner. This was perfect. It's very casual inside. We both had martini's (mine was alemon drop) for our cocktails. DH had the Bistec Empanizado and I had the Churrasco. Both of us ordered the black beans andplantains. All so delicious. I loved the Chimichurri sauce that came with my dish. Served with our meal was bread right out ofthe oven. Upon looking at our bill, we noticed a 15% discount. DH is a retired Veteran and while he didn't have his ID card, the waitress was kind to still give him a discount. Very nice! If we ever fly out of Raleigh again, we will come back. Read more

Food was good-we came right at 4pm ( opening time) seat at the bar. Presume manager was in a bad mood/not very friendly or... inviting. Recommend The Ropa Vieja. I also had a Pina Colada-not the best, but ok. Read more

Such a good place. I've only been there for lunch but the Cubano is great! Close to the airport so perfect for eating before or... after a flight. The interior transports you to a different place. Read more

If I could give them a negative review I would. We called in an order an hour before closing. I asked for vaca frita, tostones,... a tamal and moros. They “forgot” the Moro and when I went back to pick it up this is what they gave me. Not even a quarterof the container and the rice was hard. A waste of almost $4. They didn’t forget, they just gave me whatever they had left inthe bottom of their rice maker. The tostones were stale. Again, they just gave me whatever they had leftover. Horrible service.Save yourself the money. As a Cuban, I’m disappointed to have them represent our food and culture. Read more

Tried this after a long plane flight and the food was great. The slow roasted pork was very tender and prefect.

Milanesa de bistec (breaded steak) is what ordered. It was pretty good overall. I enjoyed the maduros very much! The veggies... however were covered in fatty oils or butter- not very appetizing. However, the intense, natural taste of the bell peppers trulystood out in this veggie amalgam! The steak itself was, ah, 7/10. Some portions, such as the edges, were crunchy (inconsistentlycooked), but ketchup complemented the areas that weren’t. ???? The beans? Spot-on! I do intend to order-out for lunch again! Read more
