We've lived near this restaurant for years but for some reason never tried it. Late on a Friday night the SO and I found... ourselves hungry after 9PM on a weeknight in Cary, when they've rolled most of the sidewalks up. Since I was in charge of theoperation and time was tight, I decided to give JJ China a try. The dishes ordered were spring rolls, chicken "stix"(kebab-style), beef with broccoli and moo shu pork . And they were all good or even a little better, with the exception of themoo shu, which was quite skimpy on the pork, for which I'm taking away one star. It's a commonly-ordered dish in the upperrange of regular entree prices, and the dollar saved on cost of food irritates me. And I sit down restaurant I'd have sent itback. Anyway, there was nothing wrong with the other three dishes. The chicken kabob was pretty generous so I'd give them aquarter star back if I could ;) Overall a positive experience and portions were generous enough that we had a lunch and dinnerworth of leftovers which is always a plus. Definitely will try JJ China's again. Read more
