We've lived near this restaurant for years but for some reason never tried it. Late on a Friday night the SO and I found... ourselves hungry after 9PM on a weeknight in Cary, when they've rolled most of the sidewalks up. Since I was in charge of theoperation and time was tight, I decided to give JJ China a try. The dishes ordered were spring rolls, chicken "stix"(kebab-style), beef with broccoli and moo shu pork . And they were all good or even a little better, with the exception of themoo shu, which was quite skimpy on the pork, for which I'm taking away one star. It's a commonly-ordered dish in the upperrange of regular entree prices, and the dollar saved on cost of food irritates me. And I sit down restaurant I'd have sent itback. Anyway, there was nothing wrong with the other three dishes. The chicken kabob was pretty generous so I'd give them aquarter star back if I could ;) Overall a positive experience and portions were generous enough that we had a lunch and dinnerworth of leftovers which is always a plus. Reposting my review. Ordered 2 orders of chicken wings and was told 10 minutes. I arrive ten minutes later and then I am told it... will be ten more minutes. I am then given cold, dried up chicken wings probably left over from the previous day, and that’snot a full 2 orders of chicken wings. I have ordered from here many times before, it’s hit or miss but this time was just thelast straw. I am one of those people who love chicken wings from the chinese restaurant. Yup, that’s all I really order andthen I dip it in hot sauce and ketchup, pretty simple order. I particularly love chicken wings from the chinese restaurant sothis is not my first time ordering chicken wings, I know when I was given OLD dried up chicken wings instead of fresh ones. Thephotos shown is what I got that was supposed to be 2 orders of chicken wings….I live 5 minutes away from this location howeverI will be driving ALL the way to golden china on SW Cary parkway when I need my chicken wing fix. I have ordered from here manytimes over the last 3 years and the quality of the food just keeps getting worse. I once received. a small Shrimp fried rice with 3 shrimp in it…. For a takeout Chinese restaurant it's good. Every time I've ordered from JJ China my food has always been very fresh very hot... and if I ever have an issue with the order they've always fixed it for me. I've tried quite a few dishes from here but I'd haveto say my favorites are the lo mein dishes the fried or steamed dumplings and the Chinese Donuts. You can order food from JJChina online, by phone, in person, or if you're close enough on doordash or GrubHub. Read more
I love the new remodeling of this restaurant. It had been opened for 10 years! They have completely change the restaurant from... the ceiling to the floor! They change the colors of everything and it look so much better. The only thing they didn’t changeis the price of the food, which is what I like about it! The food is great as ever and I still love the seafood delight plate! Iwould really recommend it to you guys! Read more
