Real Italian food. Worthy of being in Philly in terms of quality. A classical Italian restaurant ambiance, with attentive... service. I found the prices reasonable as well (though my friends brought a bottle of wine with a $15 corkage fee that felthigh). Read more

This place has really falling off… I just order a Cheesesteak and shrimp scampi… my cheesesteak was half the size it... usually is (I didn’t complain) my complaint was that my shrimp scampi wasn’t made/Seasoned properly it had no herbs nor doesis barley have sauce (leaving it Dry), now when I called and asked for a refund or store credit they made it an issue telling meI need to bring the food back I told them it was delivery, but long story short I went back and forth with the girl answeringthe phone while she had to keep her asking the boss… at the end they told me they couldn’t give me a refund without thepasta that’s the policy which I told her that’s not the policy because I have refund from their before as store credit. Sheasked if I wanted the boss I told her yes when she came back to the phone she told me the boss is now in an important meetingsmh. So now I’m waiting for the boss to get out his important meeting so I can get my refund Read more

My first encounter with Antonio's was way back circa 2008 when I first moved into Mo-ville. I cannot recall the dish, but I... distinctly remember I walked away thinking it was overpriced for the quality and quantity. I was recently lured back, due to myneighbor who enjoys the bar. I have to say, almost 15 years later and my opinion hasn't changed, but this time I have vividmemories to document what happened and why I feel this way. The first time back after over a decade I was at the bar duringhappy hour. They had nachos on the bar HH menu, decently priced too. Well, what came out was NOT nachos. But rather, a soggypile of nacho chips drowned in queso cheese sauce. I was disappointed because I was expecting chips with lettuce, tomatoes, sourcream, salsa. NOPE, queso over soggy chips! IF they would have just said, it's queso over chips, I would have been A-OK with it,but asked for my cheese on the side... like a normal side of chips and cheesy dip... not a congealed pile of cheese and wetnachos. But, hey, ok, it was a HH "special," no big right? Next visit, I was again at the bar, but this time over the weekendwith a full menu. I decided to start with an appetizer, fried ricecini balls "stuffed" with meat, peas, and sauce. Well well, let me tell you about this $9 app! Three balls slightly larger than golf balls came out. They were fried to a golden brown, OK.But then I CUT into one! My first ball had a lone, single pea, and barely a dribble of sauce. It's almost as if they tried toshort me on the "stuffing" like they used tweezers to place a si ngle lonely pea in there and needed an eye dropper to inject adrop of sauce for color... Oh and what about the meat you ask... It was blended into the sauce. I've seen more meat blended intosauce from a can of Ragu meat sauce. On the last Ricecini ball, we had the fortune of not one, not two, but THREE peas! In orderto keep it fair, my girlfriend and I cut the third pea in HALF so we could have equal peas for di Read more

We arrived at 5:15 on Thursday....before the "dinner" crowd. The bar was packed! But we were going for a nice, romantic... Italian dinner...not the exuberance of the bar...a quiet, intimate table. We were not disappointed! Not on any count! Spacebetween the tables. Attentive wait staff. Music playing in the background. Excellent service coupled with excellent food (theveal marsala and the fettuccine alfredo) served with freshly baked bread and Caeser salad...with a wonderful houseChianti...made for a very romantic evening. And quite reasonably priced! A win/win! Read more

Return visit was even better than the first! Very nice casual Italian dining room. Server Louis was attentive and accomodating.... Bread and drinks were quick. We had the mussels which were very tasty and the sauce makes a great dip. All 4 dishes wereterrific. The veal was great and my grilled salmon was fantastic. The had a lot of specials as well. This place is everythingyou want in a local restaurant. Another trip back here was great! So consistently good...Italian classics are awesome Read more

Very nice place. Heard about it from a friend and checked it out today for lunch. They open at 11am so we were the only ones in... their at first. The place has a very nice atmosphere. The staff was polite and friendly. We got the veal Antonio and a chickenparmigiana. Both were very good. They have different sized portions for the lunch and dinner menus. These were perfect size fora lunch. I assume the portions are larger on the dinner menu as the prices go up at dinner. The place started getting moreguests and multiple tables came in shortly before we left. Didn't check out the wine menu as it was early but they looked tohave an ample supply and variety. Would definitely go back anytime for lunch or check out for dinner. Read more

Perfect restaurant for some good Italian eats and drinks. Initially, nobody came over to take our order but someone (I think a... manager) came over and saw we hadn’t been served yet and took our order, brought us drinks, etc. Everyone was very nice andthe food was delicious. Good environment too. Clean and welcoming. We will definitely be back! Read more
