I had the veal Toscano, and it may have been the single best dish I have ever eaten! Thanks for a wonderful night out!

Great value, flavorful food, great service. The outside of the building doesn't do this place justice. The inside is quaint yet... slightly elegant. Very surprised when we walked in, greeted with a smile and sat pretty quickly. Service was friendly and fairlyquick. Food came out hot and quick and was full of flavor. We will definitely be back! Thanks for the surprise and the greatfood Read more

Update...I understand that ownership has changed, but we visited this past weekend and I am happy to say that the food and... recipes were still the same and quite awesome! Other than a few new faces it was the same great Salute we know andlove! Saturday evening dinner for 4. Seated quickly and since it's a byo, wine was on the table. Appetizers were great includingmussels and shrimp sambuca. Veal Piccata was great with a side of rabe, and my friends pork chop looked fantastic. This place issolid and consistent. Read more

TLDR: good food, semi pricey, decent service The atmosphere: the place is not big, but it?s not small. It?s small enough and... set up in a way that makes it hard to hear oneself think when it?s packed. Chalk it up to it being an Italian restaurant (asStereotypical Italians are loud), but I just don?t think the space allows for great conversation when sat in the middle of theestablishment. But it?s a cute place. The food: ordered the calamari and mozzarella sticks. Surprisingly, the sticks wereserved with a cheese sauce versus a traditional red marinara. The calamari wasn?t overly greasy or chewy, meeting the averagedish. Personally ordered the orchiette dish with broccoli rabe and sausage, which I enjoyed it greatly. The rigatoni ala vodkawas SUPER creamy and thick. Service: waiter was good. Wait staff excellent. Understandable that it was a busy Saturday evening, but don?t be so exasperated and rude if the party is not aware or familiar with ordering everything at once. Would I recommend?Yes. Do visit. Do enjoy. Do continue support this lovely business. Also, it is BYO-W. A lovely positive. Read more

Very good bread and sauce. Had the calamari and bread see pic appetizers. Both very good. Had the eggplant sandwich, which was... very tasty on thinner Italian bread which was crispy and being thin was not overly bready and filling like a lot of other placestypically offer. The cannolis had a slightly different taste than what I expected but still were pretty good. Nice atmosphere nfriendly staff Read more
