I would leave zero stars if I could. I went into order coffee. And as I?m placing my order with my mask over my face, the... barista taking orders refuse to take my order until I pulled my mouth all the way up to the bridge of my nose right underneathmy eyes because it has to completely cover my faith. I asked her if she would like me to cover my entire head. She stated that Icould be refuse service and they can refuse service to me if I refuse to wear my mask correctly. The mask is ineffective anyway,and I?m not actually required to wear it under the ADA, however I wore it there because there were so many people standing nextto the counter and I didn?t want to cause an issue. She stated that they could refuse service even if you had a disability orthey would ask somebody to order for you. I am alone who am I supposed to ask to order for me? She eventually takes my order,and as I?m waiting for my coffee I noticed the next person in line is wearing their mask completely down to the tip of theirnose I can see his nostrils from the side. What does Marissa do? Nothing she says nothing to him and take his order without anissue. Maybe it?s the fact that I?m Hispanic and there aren?t a ton of Hispanics living in Morro Bay, and maybe it?s becausethat man was white and a white older. I?m not sure what the issue was, but I am extremely upset that I have that type ofexchange. She said I would have the same experience no matter what store I went to in SLO County. This is Incorrectinformation. I?ve gone into several stores wearing my mask the same way or not wearing one at all, and I?ve never been toldanything or been treated that way. I did make a complaint to customer service who said they would forward it to the storemanager. And I was comped a decent amount to my card but the issue is the way she acted. Not the money. Coffee tasted good, but other aspects of visit were not good. Queue runs along baked goods stock (see pics). Greeted at counter... with nothing more than a state. Display case disheveled at best. Located in Albertsons Supermarket. Read more
