First off, I will say the quality of the fish and cuts was phenomenal. Living in Orange County I thought I've had the best sushi... California has to offer at a good price, but this place is delicious. The only area this place lacks in is hospitality. Wedidn't sit at the sushi bar so I'm not sure how that experience is, but for table dining I feel the waiter was just super promptand dismissive and "matter-of-fact"ly of any questions we had. It's a shame, the experience would have been a lot better if itfelt more human, if that makes sense. Read more
I have ordered to-go about three times and it?s been consistently good. I have not had the opportunity to dine in but want to!... Servers are always friendly when I pick up and the rolls taste fresh, are a good portion/size. Read more

Sushi chef (younger male) is not hospitable and extremely rude when you try to speak with him. Why else sit at the sushi bar if... you can't talk to the sushi chef, but here I have yet to be able to ORDER from the chef and have never been greeted. I've gonehere while being the only patron and when there were 3 others at the bar. We all commented on the staff and inability to order.Rude is an understatement. On the positive. Happily surprised with the quality of the fish here. I had the small sashimiplatter and rainbow roll. The fried salmon skin hand roll was crispy and delicious. And the quail egg shooter was presented in achampagne glass. My friends had a few rolls and scallop nigiri and it was like butter melting in your mouth it was so good. Theybrought us a truffle sauce and Japanese sauce which were tasty and so glad they let us try it. We were also given REAL wasabi.I've never had it the way they presented it, but it was definitely fresh and had a good kick to it. Will definitely be goingback to try more fish!!! I went to this place the other day and it was SO incredibly good. It was very healthy and the ingredients they use are all... extremely fresh and you can even see them displayed at the bar. I definitely recommend coming here to eat! (They also have agreat view of Morro Bay). Read more

Came here at opening on a Saturday for lunch, and it was completely empty. Our waiter was extremely attentive and took care of... us. The Chicken Karaage was super crisp and good flavor. The 3 rolls we got (rose, black widow, tuna temptation?) were all fresh and had some really good flavors. The heat of the chili oil really sneaks up on you, just be warned.
