Honest review here: i promise im not bashing this place but my experience was horrible and this place need to make some changes,... we went to this place because we heard lots of great things about golden krust, guess it wasnt this place! went to this locationthis evening, as soon as we walked in the energy in this place was so off you would want to walk back out the door, the ladywith the bat lashes had the nastiest attitude ever, I was afraid to order my food! the food was not fresh, we took couple bitesand trash the rest, mind you we ordered for 4 people so we spent over $100+ for nasty food, we purchased some cakes I felt likeI tasted poison, the cake was beyond stale, I promise I'm not Exaggerating we all spit out our cake, it tasted like we waseating chemicals. I'm not the one to bring down anyone's business especially a Caribbean business but it's no way this businessshould be selling that type of food to people. Read more
Ox Tail plate almost $30 and the portion size sucks and the customer service was bad. I even offered to pay for extra on top of... the almost $30 and she refused it. Needless to say I will not revisit! The two stars is only because the food was decent?nothing to jump up and down about! Read more
I came in to this location ordered a dinner and I ordered 3 Patty's. One Chicken Patty and 2 beef patties and the Server grab... one of the beef patties from a different location and I told her that I wanted two beef Patty's and she said that it was but Inoticed she grabbed it from a different location and it didn't say mild beef. When I got home it was not beef it was chicken. Idid not take the beef Patty back the same day and when I brought it back she told me that she could not replace the chickenPatty with a beef Patty because it was not the same day. When I asked to speak with the manager she told me that she was themanager and that there was nothing that she could do. She argued with me over giving me a beef Patty which is what I ordered nota chicken Patty and refuse to give me a beef patty. She told me if I wanted To talk with her supervisor that I would have tocome back on Monday which is four days later to take it up with her. I can't believe all this over a beef Patty!! Which I toldher when she grabbed it that it wasn't beef, and she assured me that it was! Good food but POOR customer service!! Poor! Tooadd. I bought more than Pattie?s. I ordered a dinner as well. I guess I got them on a good day from reading the lastest reviews. Lunch special Curry chicken, rice and peas and cabbage.... Enough for 2 meals was very good. Even though I live in the area first time going to Golden Crust... spices hit the rightway...very impressed for less than $9. Read more
Horrible experience. Charged $32 for a large curried chicken plate with only chicken and rice, no cabbage or plantains. A... roti with only chicken, no potatoes and a hole was in the wrap. The guy was very nonchalant and skimpy on the servings.Confirmed my prior hesitation. Not a fan of this location. Read more
Called about one order and then completely left all the other items out the delivery bag. Called them and was told we would have... to pick up, a delivery order. I didn't know where they were located it's a delivery order for a reason. Didn't get meals butreceived sides and coco bread is cheap store bought. They?re charging $27 for oxtails plate and this is what you get . I want a Jamaican Spice Beef Patty and went here. I am so disappointed. I am a Jamaican so I know what a good Patty should... taste like. They have the nerve to charge $3.50 it had no MEAT, no spice and no taste. l have no idea what they have in itprobably bread filling. They should be a shame.
