Very dirty environment, dirty silverware. chef was complaining about customers loudly and the bathroom was very dirty
This place used to be one of our favorites, the pizza is still great, but the upkeep of the establishment has went way downhill.... When you walk into the Entryway there are pieces of the wall that have fallen, and no one cleans them up, the dining room itselfis filthy and often there are dirty tables still lingering when we leave. I know help is hard to get these days, but thereappears to be zero effort going into making this place look like something. I'm sure we'll go back tho.. That Pizza! Smh Read more
We decided to drive to Morton to get some Firehouse Pizza for our pizza and (root) beer night. I ordered my favorite Hawaiian... pizza with a hand-tossed crust. At the old Firehouse Pizza in Peoria, we had always ordered thin crust, but we were feelingadventurous and tried something different. Great choice! Delicious pizza! We also ordered a couple of gluten-free pizzas forfamily members, and they gave an enthusiastic thumbs-up for their choice of a GF Delight! The service was top-notch, and thepizza was still hot when we got to our destination 15 minutes later. It was an excellent family pizza night! Read more
I placed a large order for our office (15 pizzas, 100+ wings, salad) and was very impressed from start to finish. No mistakes... on the order, the pizza was delicious, and the employees were friendly and professional. Everything was ready at the time werequested it, and they even helped us out to our car. I must admit that I like a pizza every so often actually walked in here because I was looking for another place and couldn?t... find it. Staff very friendly and professional young lady at the counter I decided on the thin crust chicken Parmesan pizza andall I can say was how enjoyable that was. Throughly enjoyed and it was nice as instead of having a big slice to eat on the cutit up into smaller squares so you eat it slowly and actually really enjoy the pizza a lot more. This place is run-down. First time I?ve been here in the last 4 years and it?s nothing like it used to be. Old building with... old fire equipment screwed to the walls. Pizza was stale, not fresh, and had been sitting out a while. Tables are shimmed withpaper towels or napkins since none of the floor is level. Not a welcoming or comforting feel. Booths and chair seats are rippedand torn. There was about 6 people in there during prime lunch time which is possibly a contributing factor of not having freshpizza. To clean tables, simply brush food off the tables and onto the floor. Will not be returning and I do not recommend theMorton location for lunch. If you?re craving Firehouse Pizza, cruise over to the East Peoria location. Read more
This is our favorite pizza in the Morton area. I love your sweet sauce and always feel very satisfied!
