When my husband was a kid in the 80's there was a Pegasus Pizza in Lincoln that was his absolute favorite. We recently... discovered that there is currently a Pegasus Pizza in Morton, same sign out front. We were excited to give it a try last night,and find out it's still the same recipe. The absolute best pizza in Morton. Undisputed champ! The pizza always comes hot, is consistently good, and they are usually... spot on with how long the delivery will take. The crust is crispy and I'm not sure what cheese blend they use but it has afantastic flavor. Highly recommend this place to local residents and travelers! Read more

Review Date: February 9th, 2016 I had a coupon. My friend and I enjoy a good pizza. So off to Pegasus Pizza we go! Well, that... was the idea at least. Pegasus pizza was a very hard place for my friend and I to find. I had assumed it was a normalrestaurant, but it?s quite the opposite actually. It?s situated in a building the size of an Ice Cream Shack. So the only roominside is for customers to order. Not a bad thing, but my friend and I were ill-prepared for dealing with carry out only. So weplaced an order and killed time by going to the gas station, getting some stuff there and debating where we would eat. Wesettled on his place as it was the closest place we could think of. We go back, grab our pizza from just about the friendliestpizza staff I have ever dealt with, headed back to his place and scarfed down some pizza. The pizza itself was pretty good. Itdidn?t floor me, but it didn?t disappoint. But my friend really enjoyed it. I think my problem is the type of sausage they use.There is a certain style that my taste buds just absolutely hate. Pegasus Pizza has been around for a long time and Morton, and institution. I can?t number the times we?ve had a batch of pizzas... when my kids came home from college or when friends came over for Friday night happy hour. The service was always fast, thepizza was always hot, and they used fresh ingredients. The people were friendly, good decent people. I don?t live in Mortonanymore, but whenever I go back, there?s always a Pegasus Pizza involved. I?ve had pizza in a lot of places, and the only pizzathat beats it is Vince?s, who was from and returned to Italy after making wonderful pizza in Morton for years, and MamaCrumrine, who made the best in the world and who spoke Italian to Vince when they saw each other.
