Not only does the Rivers Coffeehouse have amazing coffee and food, they also have excellent service that goes above and beyond.... The gift shop is adorable, and we really enjoy the live music and library. The view of the misty mountains adds to the peacefulambience. This is a cozy spot for community and relaxation. Read more
The kitchen is open! They have a small breakfast menu available and everything on it is amazing. I got the eggs Benedict crepes... with Brie and apples inside WHOA. Nice light side salad. The hollandaise sauce is really light and really tasty, very butterybut not heavy. The eggs were perfectly poached. The edges of the ham are crispy YUM! The crepe and filling was soooo good. The food was so delicious I couldn?t wait to have a bite, so my apologies for the missing bit of burger! When was the last time... you stopped for coffee and spent an hour and half soaking in the ambience, attentive service, and the cozy warmth of arestaurant surrounded by books, my favorite old mellow tunes and leather chairs for melting off the miles. We are visiting from out of state and ended up here by happenstance (renting an Airbnb that included a gift card for here). The... food was all AMAZING, some of the best we?ve had in awhile. I've reviewed them before, but they deserve another....not only is the food amazing, but the staff is way more accommodating... than many other restaurants I've visited. A sweet older couple asked if they had milkshakes and instead of saying "sorry, not onthe menu"...the awesome server said "well...we do have ice cream, so I can make that happen!" ....sorry for the picture...I wasso damn excited about my Affogato, that I forgot to take a before picture ???? ...it was amazingly good and so was my candiedbacon sandwich ????? I think it?s the only place for breakfast and coffee in the town, but I wouldn?t go anywhere else if there was. The cafe is... beautiful inside with a rustic charm. The coffee is excellent. Would recommend the ?Sweet Honey Bee Latte? if you like somethingsweet. The food is fantastic.
