I visited this location on Dempster Avenue in Morton Grove for the first time and bought a very good ham. Kevin was very... helpful. I had issues with the survey system indicated on the receipt. My essay answers were positive. The customer care and hamwas excellent. The ham may cost more but was low in fat, meaty and tasty. Read more

Honey Baked Ham had come recommended to us on several occasions so this year for Thanksgiving we decided to go ahead and try it... out. We had out of town guests and it was really important that everything be perfect. We ordered a handful of sides that bothin the store, and on the website, there were pictures of these wonderful looking side dishes so we ordered almost $200 worth ofthese side dishes for pick up the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. When I arrived to pick up the order, to my surprise and dismay, what had appeared to be the wonderfully crafted side dishes were actually FROZEN boxes! Like frozen dinners from Walmart! Now itwas Tuesday and there was not time to try to get together a replacement. So I mistakenly proceeded with these frozen dinners. Ipopped them in the oven as the directions stated and what a disappointment! They were all horrible with the exception of thebeans. I mean really horrible! Not something I would put in from of my dog let alone guests for Thanksgiving dinner. Everythingwent in the garbage! We were out shopping like maniacs Thanksgiving morning in an attempt to salvage what should have been afestive and relaxing day. Honey Baked Ham, you ruined our Thanksgiving. And you can't give it back. The least you can do isoffer some sort of refund! I will NEVER enter your store again. And I suggest nobody else does either! Read more

One star is too much for what I had to experience yesterday , one day before Thanksgiving when this store had audacity to charge... me $95 for honey burned ham. Yes, the ham that they sold me was badly burned , dry and literally covered with charcoal ,instead of the usuall crusty honey glaze. I am including the photos of how BAD it was !! Unfortunately, they did not allow me toopen and look at it prior to buying it and I did not want to open it in the car . It took me about 45 minutes to get home andwhen I finally got home and opened it - I almost had a heart attack from seeing the low quality garbage that I just paid $95for. I immediately called the place and they told me that they can not exchange it because they were out of hams ??? What ? Theyran out of hand by 4 pm ?? Oh yes, they said that I can bring it back and exchange it on Friday , the next day afterThanksgiving..A WHAT ??? Why would I need it after Thanksgiving? The manager that I spoke on the phone with with said that itsupposed to be burned!! A WHAT ??? IT SUPPOSED TO be covered in black charcoal , rather than the usual yellowish brown crispyhoney glaze ? Are you kidding me ? They should just make an announcement that their company is no longer making a Honey BakedHam, that from now on their specialty is Honey Burned Ham. This would save me a lot of time and money. It's not like they aregiving it away for FREE!. That ham is EXPENSIVE, but the way they treat their customers, you would think that they are givingaway free food . I had been buying Honey Baked ham for over 30 years and I know very well what it should look and taste like. It should not be burned , it should not taste burned and bitter, and it's glaze should be golden brown not charcoal black . I amincluding photos that garbage that they call Honey Baked Ham. This is last year I will ever set my foot in any Honey BakedStores. An absolute disgrace. Horrible customer service and garbage product. Save your money. This company Read more
