Always satisfied with Cracker Barrel's food, fried pickles are so good, with ample portions.
Food was great. Service was super friendly and welcoming. Bathrooms were clean. My family needed a pit stop on our 12 hour... journey back to Texas, and Cracker Barrel is always a welcome stop for us. But the resturaunt and store staff (not to mentionthe patrons!) all exemplified southern manners and hospitality! We had the sweetest waitress that took great care of us eventhough they were bogged down from the post lunch rush. Read more
I haven't been here in a few years and I was super disappointed in this particular cracker barrel. The only reason I'm giving... two stars was because of the sweet, very attentive waitress we had the other morning when we came. We ordered the hamburgersteak and my husband got the chicken fried chicken. I ordered my hamburger steak medium rare and it was dry as a bone cookedvery well like a thin circular mystery meat. My husband's chicken looked nothing like the menu. It was a very small dried uppiece of chicken with nothing but hard breading as if it was double fried. I was disappointed to begin with because they wereout of hash brown casserole and that's the main reason I went there. I was offered tater tots. What a slap in the face. The totswere good because they weren't like a normal tator tot. We also tried the cheesecake pancakes. Not super impressed with themeither because our pancakes with cooked on a burnt pan and that's all we tasted with every bite. Y'all need to get some bettercooks at this location. I eat all my food because don't like wasting food. I haven't ever seen a square steak. I asked for it medium,not rare. The... scramble eggs are not. Liquid eggs poured and folded???????????. I know that I shouldn't have gone to Cracker Barrel for steak.But my kids couldn't do Long Horn nor any dense steak house that night. Read more
Horrid experience. While passing through for the night, we were staying at an adjacent hotel and my father suggesting grabbing... a piece of chocolate cake for his bday; we though it would be an easy quick visit to grab something he knows. However, such aneasy request proved to be too much for the staff. Though we only ordered desserts, it took almost 30 minutes to table. When thedesserts did arrive, the cake was dry, crumbly, and (quite literally) falling apart. We attempted to find a manager to discussthe issue which resulted in the manager confirming the low quality of the dessert served. Though he worked to replace the twocakes we ordered, no real apology was offered or resolve presented. Frankly, it seemed like we were inconveniencing them bystopping in at all. We will not return. While are food was delicious, the service by our waitress left much to be desired. Someone needs to offer her some training! ... Attention to your patrons gives you a much bigger tip! Always a treat to shop the in the store while waiting to dine! Read more

Depending on the Cracker Barrel... usually that's how it goes. One this day, they were busy. Staff was attentive and pleasant.... Lots of folks probably on the road for the week of Thanksgiving. Including us. All was well. We tried different items. TheFrench toast with chicken, Breakfast bites: beignet biscuits, hashbrown loaded tots , cheese bites, and the old timersbreakfast. Had to be hungry to eat all that. Took a while for food to come out...so be patient. It was delicious. Read more
