Just left the restaurant which we liked to frequent when we shop in Moultrie until today. We ordered from the specials... blackboard..... NOT THE MENU. Waitress asked if we'd like to make any food substitutions. No one told us there would be anupcharge for doing this. Hart Brown (owner) was very rude. He made unprofessional comment (It's on the menu!) with a rude tone.Again..... we didn't order from the menu. Brown made no effort to correct his wrong. However, the waitress offered a lemonsquare. We used to eat here all the time! The food and service were always excellent; however, the last few times we have visited have... been sub-par and tonight was the absolute worst! 5 out of 5 would no longer recommend to even acquaintances. The wait staff wasmore concerned with removing dishes than actually offering service. There was not once a how is everything or even offer torefill our drinks. The food lacked anything even resembling flavor and was over cooked. The only thing decent was the blueberrycheesecake. For the price I expected so much more. The salads were really good, Jordan was a great attentive waitress and very kind! My husband and I split the brownie and it was... warm and gooey and so good with the ice cream! We can?t wait to go back! Read more
I was passing through Moultrie on Thursday and decided to get take out from this little place I had heard so much about. Called... ahead and ordered a couple of their casseroles, which I thought were single servings based on the price. No Way! We justfinished our third meal off those two dishes. Grouper Po Boy was excellent with generous portion and cooked just right. Hamburgers were a hit. Reasonable prices, staff were... knowledgable, helpful, and attentive. Ambiance homey with wholesome, youthful, family flair. Very enjoyable. Read more
Stopped in here while in town for work and was not disappointed. Great salads, wraps and sandwiches. Cool vibe in the restaurant... as well. Love the old school vinyl albums covers and photos. Read more
