I had to stop and enjoy a treat from Rita's. My favorite is cherry or black cherry and I was ready to indulge. I decided to try... red sour patch kid flavor... Oh my goodness it was a delicious blend of sweet and tartness. Add the custard to it for a gelatiand it was amazing!! Glad I decided to stop and even more happy I tried a new flavor. Read more

Happy people on the beachfront Boardwalk selling frozen treats at what were pretty decent prices considering the location and... Market. Everything was pretty good they were happy to provide samples and the be working with strangers to the area even on arainy day which kills Boardwalk traffic. The only negative to the experience would be the $5 minimum for using your card andonly the large sized treats being more than $5. Read more

Rita's serves Italian Ice and frozen soft-serve custard. You can have the two mixed, layered, etc. The flavors of Ice change... regularly, and custard is Vanilla or Chocolate or Swirl. Ask for free samples to figure out which ice you like. The ice isdense and flavorful, and the custard is creamy but not too rich. This particular Rita's has an eat-in area that seats about 20people. It's rarely too busy and parking is adequate. I recommend Rita's Mt. Airy as a great place to take your family out fora frozen dessert, especially if it's too hot and you want to sit inside. Read more
