Great cafe! Everything that I?ve tried here has been delicious. Their breakfast sandwiches, paninis, soups, and cookies are all... so good! I always have to leave with a few ginger molasses cookies and their hot drinks are great too. The owner and staff aresuper friendly as well. Read more
I've known the owner Tara for several years and it is great to see her entrepreneurial spirit thriving - even more so helping... the entrepreneurial spirit to thrive in Mount Albert. The downtown core of this little village once again has a wonderful placeto go for morning coffee and snacks that hit the spot, and the awesome local vibes make the experience extra-personal. Absolute gem of a cafe, with amazing sandwiches, cookies, other baked goods, and of course coffee. I had a chicken wrap, s?mores... bar, coffee, and ginger molasses cookie last time I went and they were all FANTASTIC. The owner, Tara, is so lovely and clearlyan incredibly talented chef/ baker. Her dedication is evident in the quality of her offerings at lighthouse cafe. Also, thedecor is so cute and cozy. Great little cafe off the beaten path, with super friendly staff. Get there early otherwise your selections might be limited.... The rice crispy squares are fantastic, and the amount of repeat customers says a lot. Will be back again earlier in the day totry more treats. Enjoy. Read more
