Several positive aspects stand out from my dining experience. The outside of the restaurant is dirty and unkept but the inside... is clean seemingly tidy. We were given a table almost immediately, our order was taken in a timely manner, and our foodarrived very quickly. Sadly, the negative outweighs the positives in this case. The assigned waiter never checked on us once ourfood came out. The food portions were significantly disproportional regarding the amount of rice and meat. The order sizes ingeneral were small. The full order size of chicken on the beach caused me to ask for confirmation that it was in fact the fullorder. My wife requested two sauces (red and white) on her enchiladas and they were unwilling to accommodate her. Lastly, wepurchased three items total and our bill was over $50 without a tip. It was very expensive even with inflation increases. Icannot recommend Tequila's at the moment. Read more

My food is always cooked very well. The staff is super friendly and most of the waitstaff do very well with taking care of the... customers. My only suggestion would be maybe think about doing some updates to refresh the restaurant inside and out. Prices arevery reasonable though and the portions on most dishes are generous Read more
I think the food is very good and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Great place to eat if your coming in town.
This place has turned a 180 over the last few years for the better. Sometimes I get to be a creature of habit and order the same... thing. The pick your own combo here doesn't disappoint. Chicken quesadilla, chile relleno, hard shell taco no lettuce with riceand beans. Perhaps the thing that makes me get into my happy place is the fact they don't skimp on your taco even though youdont get lettuce. In fact, they seem to double up on the meat and cheese to replace the lettuce which is fantastic. The helphere are great as well. Very attentive to your needs and are happy to make conversation if you want. Very happy to see ahometown restaurant perform on a higher level. Read more
