I called to check if there was a wait time and there was not so we came here to eat as everyone was really hungry and we were on... our way back home from homecoming. We were sat immediately at a nice booth and it was fairly empty so we thought we would orderand get our food at a decent time. Everyone was nice, but it was nearly 50 minutes for our appetizers (half pound bonelesswings-delicious, cup French onion soup-not properly made (we were compt), house salad-delicious) to come out. The children'sburger kept being asked for as well and the server would say, it'll come with the rest of the meals, but she brought out abasket of fries we didn't order to hold them over. We were charged for the basket of fries we didn't order. When the maindishes finally came out 15-20 minutes after, the chicken cheesesteak was amazing but the chips on the side looked like theythrew the end of two chip bags on my plate-and they were stale; the ribeye was burnt, not medium (we were compt), the chicken onthe chicken cranberry salad was overcooked, dry, and tough (we were compt), and the children's burger didn't come out with therest of the food. It was stated it had been "dropped" and had to be remade. When it came out a few minutes later with pipinghot fries, we didn't expect it would be raw (we were compt). Pubwich was good. Fries were limp, not cooked long enough and warm. Cob salad, chicken was dry and I don't appreciate wilted... spinach which, may have given that bitter taste I had, in a couple bites. Read more
Stopped in on a Friday and Saturday night as we were in town for a soccer tournament. Service was polite, attentive and... friendly. Great beer selection too. I had a few Lord Hobo IPA;'s and they were ice cold and went down like a fat kid on aseesaw! Perfect for a super hot day as it was. We ordered a dozen wings and they were great. Nice size wings and great portionfor the price (16.00?). Second day it was dreaming of Lord Hobo all day! Wend back and slapped a few more down! Mick's wait staff was friendly, polite and helpful. The food was very tasty. I ordered the Fish and Chips. It was made with... unprocessed white fish in a light breading over a bed of yummy fries and served with tartar sauce and coleslaw and a side salad.Everything was delicious, I'd certainly go back and I would also recommend Mick's. My first time at this restaurant and my personal opinion is that they must be near going out of business because overall the... reviews seem good but for my husband and I, their food was bland and the bill was high. My husband ordered double shots in hisdrink and we watched them pour singles and when asked they confirmed doubles, but we got charged doubles. The wedge salad hadvery very very little topping to it. I had to pick out 3/4 of the lettuce in the bowl to get any proportion to the toppings. Iwas so excited to try a new place. We go out about 3x/week. This is my second bad review and the worst review I?ve ever given. Ireally hope this was just a bad night for this restaurant/bar and they have better nights to come. Read more
I went for lunch around 11am on a Saturday. The service was great. The menu is a bit limited and pricey. For a quick lunch bite,... I paid $20 after a reasonable tip. I got a water and it was just one sub meal. More selection and lower prices would bring up myrating. The staff was great. Read more
