Stopped here after a 6 hr drive from Massachusetts. From start to finish it was very quick. Got seated immediately, got orders... placed with a couple mins, and our food came out perfect and delicious within what felt like 5 mins. Great job staff. Read more

A few days ago, I had my first Cracker Barrel experience at a CB in Virginia. and wasn't impressed with the food at all. We The... flavor was bland, the greens were overly watery, the cornbread was dry, and the mac & cheese seemed like it came out of amicrowave meal. Today however, I was pleased to have had a very different experience at the Cracker Barrel in Mt. Laurel, NJ.We ordered the exact same meal as before: the southern style fried chicken with greens & mac & cheese, fried okra, and thecheesecake stuffed pancake with scrambled eggs & cheese and spicy chicken sausage. The food was hot, and prepared well. I dowish they were a little more generous with the sides. The greens were good and not overly watery, the Mac & cheese was rich(with the brown oven-baked bits in it), and the cornbread was delicious. The food looked appealing and the flavor was on point. Our waitress was friendly and the food came out quickly. Overall, I would be happy to visit this location again. Read more

A staple for any road trip. An American classic. A countrified version of Denny's, but better. A large store with all kinds of... goodies to buy. See if you can get a table by the wood burning fire place. Read more

I gave them 2 stars for my breakfast. The service was great. Our waitress was friendly, was prompt and attentive. On this day I... had a craving for sausage gravy and biscuits. I was so disappointed when I was given my order. My biscuits looked dry, the gravywas in a little bowl. It was thick and it tasted like flour. I?m used to creamy, flavorful, chunks of sausage with hot fluffybiscuits. Read more

A place to try only once if you miss the southern food with the southern vibes. Their food quality was okay, not too... outstanding. They also have cute shop (candy, clothes, accessories, candles) inside the restaurant. If you decide to visithere, I will suggest to try their fried fish if you are looking for fried & crispy dish. Another suggested dish will be theroasted beef, it was unexpectedly soft and juicy! I was expected their corn breads to be soft & crumble, but it was too hardand dry! Same for the butter biscuits; it was more bready & dry, not soft & buttery. The food portion size was decent, but Iwas a bit disappointed for all the side dishes I ordered. [Fried okras]: Too bready instead of crunchy. [Fried potatoes]: Notcrispy at all, it was more like "baked" potatoes. I probably will come back here just for the southern vibes, not for the food. Well maintained and quickly seated. Seemed like our server was overwhelmed because she got our order wrong couple times but she... was still sweet. The fried chicken was great but I could have done without the side salad and Mac and cheese. Mashed potatoeswere great. Biscuit seemed super hard. Read more
