My 1st time there, it didn't disappoint. Service was friendly, food was fresh and tasty. Farm fresh eggs and bacon really make a... difference over grocery store ingredients. The salt rising bread paired perfectly with the tomato gravy (like a tomato bisquewith fresh chunks of tomato). Weather today was perfect, and the peaceful atmosphere of the grass and trees and creek andducks... highly recommend a visit. Read more
Such a neat cozy place! Super close to the creek. They have in house salt raised bread! Soooo good????. Baked goods are mega... tasty and amazingly delicious!! Me and my boyfriend went in last week as he had a dream about their sandwiches (lol!) and wanted to take me to try them for the... first time and I can say it was hands down one of the BEST sandwiches I ever had!! I got the roast beef and he got the Italianand I've been craving them ever since, we are definitely coming back soon! The ladies that run the store were very friendly andmade us feel welcome and the scenery is beautiful! First time ever trying salt rising bread and it was a.m.a.zing!! Definitelywon't be disappointed the prices are great for the quality of food you receive. Also their nutter butter homemade cookies areperfect!! Came because of reviews, will return because the food is awesome!!! Breakfast choices are priced right and are soooo good.... Outside seating only, after you order, in a beautiful creekside setting. Then grab some bread and bakery goods before you headhome. Such a good thing they have going here, no wonder they are opening a second location in Morgantown soon! Read more
The only place I have found salt rising bread since moving to Pennsylvania! The bread are excellent, as are their breakfast... sandwiches. It's a hike to get there but worth the drive. Buy more bread than you think you want, it will disappear fast! Read more
