Called topsail road...no one answered after several call attempts. So decided I'd go to mount pearl location. Placed my order... told it would be 25 min. Showed up at the correct time and was told another 20-25 min. They were clearly really backed up butcontinued to take orders instead if fulfilling the ones they had. It's been a half hour and I'm still waiting. 55 min after Iplace my order....yet ppl walking off the street and placing an order they are telling them half hr. Never again. Read more

Food was ok, not what I have come to expect from Ches's. Rudest serving staff I have had in a Ches's, by far.
Today I decided to give Ches' Mt. Pearl one more chance, since my last visit was very dissappointing and after phoning in the... order, I still had to wait 15 minutes. I ordered two 2 piece fish and chips and was disgusted with what was on the plate. Twopieces of fried batter, about 5 inches long and 2 inches wide with a small piece of fish in the center smaller than a codnugget. It was tasteless like it never saw the salt shaker. The clerk was indiffernant and the words please and thank you werenot uttered. To think this service only cost me $ 39.08 ( basicly it was for two french fries ). This was their last chance. Wasn't impressed I stopped going too all of ches,s restaurants had 3 piece fish and chips gravy and dressing on the side fish... was has I remembered greasy not many fries and only half tub gravy but full tub dressing 28 something not very good but hotanyway all end pieces of fish batter.???? Poor customer service. I called at 5:30, ordered a single piece of fish and chips, was told my order would be ready in 20... minutes. I showed up to get it, 20 minutes later and continued to wait another 25 minutes in the restaurant for my order. It wasnot only me who was clearly annoyed. Other people were having issues with their orders and missing items. The whole place waschaotic and very unprofessional. My food wasn't even hot, and it was barely a handful of fries. A fan favorite. Less one star just because food can inconsistent depending on the cook. Gravy spills sometimes if you have... takeout. Be sure to always check lid is in place properly. Read more
