Honestly, the only thing keeping this place from 5 stars in my book is price. While the burgers are perfect, and the fries... cooked perfectly and plentiful, paying $25 for a burger, fries and soda is just tough to swallow in Mt. Pleasant. (But the fooddefinitely isn't.??) Read more

$17+ is too much for a sloppy single burger and over salted fries (over half were thrown out because I couldn't eat them due to... the salt) with a pop. Disappointed in the quality at this location. Music so load, felt more like being at a bar. Won't go tothis location again. Read more
The service at Five Guys is fast and friendly. Their quality of food is very consistent with other Five Guys restaurants. The... Coke machine did not have all the available flavors, but I just wanted regular Coke anyway. The restroom was clean and thetables were wiped down shortly after use. We stopped here for lunch on a road trip. Read more
I slightly sloppy but exceedingly delicious burgers. They come with 2 patties unless you specify a "little", you pick out all... the topping, & they make it fresh in their highly visible kitchen. My favorite is probably the bacon cheeseburger with friedveggies & barbecue sauce. They also have veggie sandwiches for vegans, as well as cheese + veggies sandwiches & grilled cheesesandwiches for vegetarians. There fries are made in house; thick cut with a little crispness on the outside & come in hugeportions. They also make delicious shakes right up front & have interesting mix-in options like bacon, banana, coffee, maltedmilk, etc. They also have a Coke Freestyle machine. Pretty quick service even when they're busy. It's been clean & had greatstaff every time I've been there. The only downside is that it is a little pricey for what it is... 1st time visiting a 5 guys ever and boy did they knock it out of the park first off the location is next to a place called... insomnia cookies I mean that right there is awesome the parking lot was clean and not crowded the entire restaurant was verybright, clean and well stocked being 1st timers the staff was very helpful and very friendly we were able to easily get exactlywhat we wanted and btw the food was deliciously made fresh with no frozen meat and we could taste the difference the foodportions are very generous a regular french fry can feed 2-3 adults and the burgers are very large as well especially if you getyour burger with every topping they have at no extra charge (all the way) they had free peanuts for while you wait for your foodand the soda machine also peaked my interest it's one of those customize your fountain drink with a variety of flavors, some ofour favorites is strawberry/cherry/grape sprite, vanilla with root beer and even on our way out they wished us well we'lldefinitely stop in again and I'd highly recommend Read more
I grill burgers and steaks every summer. I cook it a lot, actually, so I know what the prices are like for ground beef,... potatoes, etc. Even before the pandemic, every time I went into Five Guys, the price would increase. It never made any sense.They just felt like because the place was popular, they could keep charging more. It used to be a must-go every time I went outof town. Then it turned into a treat. Now, it's like, do I go to the fancy steakhouse or gourmet restaurant or do I go to FiveGuys? LOL. I think they're at the breaking point now. Their basic burger is like $8 and their most expensive burgers are like$12 or $13 now. Ground beef is like $5 a pound, less if you buy in bulk, I presume. Potatoes are even less. I made burgers for amonth in college for what I pay for an average Five Guys meal now. Back in 2004. The price for those box of burgers has notincreased much at all. I predict in time, after numerous Five Guys go out of business, they will start offering $5 burgers or$7 meals to get business back, by which time it will be too late. If you really want good burgers for cheap, cook yourself orhead to Dearborn or Chicago. Dearborn is becoming a huge burger haven now and is way better than the Five Guys chain now at amuch better price. This chain will be like Quiznos and go under very soon. They probably will be bought out by someone with abrain, I'm thinking. BTW, I've been asking their corporate to add banana pepper rings for a long time. They refuse to listen tome.
