Perfect meal, decent prices , quick service, friendly environment
Usually lots of variety and the service is shockingly amazing for a buffet. The first time we went we wound up fishing for cash... for a better tip because we'd expected standard buffet service and we're highly appreciative of the attentive service we got. Wedid have one bad experience with a new employee once but when the supervisor found out they comped our whole meal rather thanthe sodas we'd not gotten and it never happened again. Occasionally on a super busy night they can't keep up on the demand fortheir delicious rolls and or might be slow to refill the soup pots and sometimes the food can be a little hit or miss butgenerally more hit than miss Read more

We went to the Ponderosa in Mount Pleasant. They did not have their normal yeast rolls. They no longer carry fried chicken or... chicken wings on the bar. Our waiter was nice. For as much as they charge now they could update the all you can eat bar some. Read more
Our adventure to Ponderosa was absolutely exquisite! We drove two hours to visit this location & will most definitely be coming... back! Excellent customer service, from the moment we arrived to when we left. The food was phenomenal! Literally triedeverything! ???? The root beer floats were SO good! A wide variety of decadent deserts. My son took the family out for dinner here. This location is very nice. The salad bar is very impressive with 2 types of... Lettuce, bacon bits, a variety of veggies, and a few choices of dressings. They had a lot of good choices for dinner too. Everything was hot and fresh. They also have a nice dessert bar with quite a few choices. I would highly recommend it! Read more
It is the first time i have been to the Ponderosa since it has open. There is a salad bar, aka cold bar. The hot bar; they... served my faves such as fried okra, chicken dumplings, chicken. The potatoes, sausage, onion and gr. peppers was fab i took someof it and added it on my mash potatoes and mac n cheese. There is also ice cream and desserts. Rolls, they serve with two typesto condiments; butter and cream with spice. Wednesday is Senior citizen day. You can get a good deal on all you can eat anddrink @ $8.99. Ponderosa also uses eco friendly straws. The waitress we had that night was on top of her job. I'm sure if onegoes in with a nice appetite you could create some kind of a meal.
