Great spot to eat, but a little pricey. I have been to Sumo twice with my family, we chose not to do the hibachi experience. The... food is all tasty, well made, and presented with flair. Although the serving sizes are strange, some meals are huge and cost$12-$15 while others are small medium sized and cost $20-$30. The service was great, the waiter was very attentive and refilled our drinks without us even having to ask. The hibachi chef was... really nice and he cooked everything really well. The food was really good and I had a great experience overall. (P. S. Absolutely delicious! When I walked in it was not what I expected at all, the staff were very polite and the scenery was... stunning. Very lovely place. The entrance is a little closed off. The house juice was my favorite (had to get one to go) I ordered... California roll 8.00 sooo worth every penny. Don't let the outside fool you, this place has some very good food! It's basically in a strip mall so parking is plenty. Upon... entering you can choose to sit at a booth, the sushi bar or the hibachi grill. This time we chose a booth-I say this timebecause we'll be back! I ordered a piña collar and we got the shumani for an appetizer. The drink was good and the shrimpdumplings were just the right size to share and get the taste buds going. W ordered our dinner when we got the appetizer andthey timed the food fairly well. The surf and turf came out first and it was just a few minutes later the roll cameout. Before the meals came the surf and turf came with soup and salad. The soup was basically broth, but delicious and thesalad was small but had a tasty dressing. The surf and turf was cooked wonderfully and everything tasted delicious. The steakwas tender and the lobster and shrimp was cooked perfectly. The yummy roll came out warm and, as the name implies, yummy! Ourdrinks were refilled in a timely manner and the wait staff were not intrusive during our meal. Cost is a bit higher, $40 forthe surf and turf, $11 for the yummy roll and another $11 for the drink. Although I think the cost for the roll is aboutaverage so maybe it was just the surf and turf that was a bit higher ????. The roll came with 8 pieces I believe and they werepretty big pieces. I think I would have preferred smaller, bite size pieces but it was still yummy ???? This is now my favorite sushi in town! The menu has a ton of variety, the rolls are huge, the ingredients are paired so well and... full of flavor. We ordered five different rolls from the highest to the lowest price range and all of them were delicious.Customer service was also excellent. Everyone was friendly, our waitress checked in on us often and answered all our questions.I look forward to going back and highly recommend! Read more
