Friends PLEASE DISREGARD Alan Martinez's very RUDE review about his food being "moldy" it's a complete lie......he was... intoxicated and being very obnoxious and disrespectful to the cashier to start out with.....i personally was there when he was acustomer and I was appalled at his behavior. He was politely asked to lower his voice and speak respectfully to which he saidright out loud "I'm going on your review page and I'm gonna run your name through the dirt" So I've been watching for hisreview to stick up for taco Boy because Alan Martinez is a liar. I grew up eating taco Boy since I was a little girl. My motherwas a single mom and she worked for Bob Sr. & Bob Jr. For many years. Bob Sr. Was like family, he treated his employees andcustomers like one big happy familia'. The quality of food has always been superb and the friendly customer service always putsa smile on my face. I highly recommend Taco Boy to any and all who enjoy Mexican food. You simply won't find another place thateven comes close to his delicious family recipes!! My fiance and I have eaten at Taco Boy literally our whole lives as we are both in our 40's so that's saying a lot! The location... has changed a few times but both Bob Balterez Sr. (May he rest in peace ????) and his son Bob Jr. The current owner/Operatorhave continued to serve our community with the most delicious homemade Mexican food at very affordable prices for as long as Ican remember. The food is absolutely delicious; the service is always fast and friendly, as I cannot recommend Taco Boy enough!If you want authentic delicious Mexican food at prices you can afford you MUST TRY ANYTHING ON THEIR MENU!! One of the oldest Mexican restaurants in Mount pleasant, the food is always excellent. Although there has been a minor drop in... quality, my green meat burrito featured ground pork instead of shredded pork, everything tasted amazing as always. Inflation isa monster, and the prices are still very reasonable. Eat up. Read more

If I could give it no stars, I would. This place is disgusting. The meat was extremely dry, flavorless and tasted old. The salsa... is Picante sauce out of a jar. It is not authentic at all don't let it fool you in the description. And the cooks where back inthe back hacking lungs up and had a face mask that was drenched in spit around the mouth. I will not be back to thisestablishment and I would not recommend it if asked. Extremely disappointing and waste of money, I could've went and wasted lessmoney at taco bell for better food. Read more
Food was good. Tried an enchilada, Taco, Red All Meat burrito, and a small chips and cheese. Taco and enchilada were ok,... burrito was tasty, however the meat was very tough. Place was clean and staff was friendly. I love the racing pictures in thelobby! Read more
We live in Grand rapids, my fiance is from Mt Pleasant. Every single time we come into town Taco Boy is a must. It's usually the... very first place we stop. I haven't tried much on their menu, but I do know that the tacos are perfection and the hot saucepairs perfectly with it! Read more
