This is an amazing little place. Great atmosphere, friendly owner with a great Italian accent! i knew i was in the right place... when she greeted me. Almost all their products are imported from Italy. From their Flour, Sauce, Cherry Tomatoes to theirdesserts and Espresso coffee. You will not be disappointed, this is truly an authentic Italian experience all around. I had theday special 'A Linguine with White clams sauce and Shrimp. i knew i was in for a treat when my plate came in steaming hot! freshbaked bread w Olive oil. I'm sure it was imported also. Exquisite, true Italian cuisine. Even the flower for the pizza is imported from Italy so no gluten and all the other additives... and preservatives that are added here in the IS... Recommended A1+++ Read more
Where do I begin. I?ve been coming here since they opened in 2007 and the food never has disappointed. Everything from their... pizza, to their pasta dishes of the day, as well as the desserts, are always phenomenal. The staff is also some of thefriendliest and kindest people you?ll ever meet. My husband and I were in the mood for Italian so we decided to try la pizzeria. Pleasant surprise it was awesome! Only thing was... the bruschetta was very salty to me but my husband loved it! Don't sleep on la pizzeria. We had the spaghetti meatball as welland a cup of espresso. Read more

La Pizzeria is a charming family owned Italian restaurant in Mount Pleasant, SC. It was some of the most amazing + authentic... Italian food in the US! They import all of their food from Italy. Sadly, I only got photos of our food after we ate most of it.Luca was our waiter and he was phenomenal. If you are in Charleston, do yourself a favor and eat here! Read more
By far, the best Italian food in the whole Charleston area. The staff are always friendly and service is exceptional. Be... prepared to wait on Fridays and Saturdays as the place is packed from open to close...but we'll worth the wait. Read more
