You can never go wrong with Pelican's SnoBalls... especially after a hot day at a baseball tournament! The treats were great,... the staff was awesome and there was plenty of seating (some shaded) to relax and enjoy your snoballs!! So at about 730pm it hit me that I really wanted a shaved ice. After spending years living in New Orleans I have a very... particular and high standard of what that means. To my most wonderful surprise after doing a quick google search I found therewas a Pelicans in Mt Pleasant! Yes that's 30min away from where I live but again not all snowball places are created equal. Ineed over 100 flavor options to revel in the joy of confusion about what flavors to choose. Not knowing what to get and creatinginsane mixes that somehow work together is part of the fun. The young guy working was extremely knowledgeable and helpfuloffering all sorts of different ways to choose are flavors and great explanations of the possible add ins. From spinning awheel, picking a number between 1-100 or the cover your eyes and point method it was all in good fun. Lots of flavors to choose from...I haven't tried them all, but I liked the ones I did try. Kind of pricey for flavored ice, but... alot less calories than ice cream. Read more

Pelican's Snoball is superb! We took our 4 year old daughter there for a treat. She got the Pretty Princess (grape/cotton... candy) and I got the Shark Attack (Sour Tsunami and Tiger's Blood with a shark gummy). We got the regular size for $4 but a kidsize is $3. The employees were very helpful and friendly with manners. This is a must visit on a summer night especially. Read more
