Wow! Might be my favorite new restaurant in Mt pleasant. The people amazing, the interior design made me feel if I closed my... eyes, I could have been in Santorini, and the food.... For sure the best Greek food in Charleston hands down (this coming from aGreek person). The wine list is absolutely incredible, I would gather they are the only folks in the area to carry some ofthese wonderful and delicious Greek wines. This unassuming strip mall is now home to three of the best (grazie, little miss haand now philosophia) local spots in Mount p. We are very lucky and gracious to have Justin and the crew! Read more
Popped into this awesome place spontaneously last night. What a treat. What an experience. Philosophia is an authentic Greek... restaurant right here in Mt. Pleasant. You know a place is brilliant when you leave the restaurant with a circus in your mouth.Their trio sampler is a must and their chicken dish is cosmic. Even better, the service is spectacular. James the bartenderallowed us to sample drinks. Highly recommend his Paloma Diablo,(wow). What impressed us the most is when the owner Justin Huntcame out to introduce himself to my wife and I and surprised us with his incredible baklava. It was like the finale at the endof a 4th of July fireworks show :) I’ll let the photos do the talking but this restaurant is a must. The food was amazing but what made the experience even better was the service. The young ladies that wait here are the best.... They are friendly, professional and beautiful. The food was amazing, our servers were awesome, both friendly and polite a great balance of checking on us and giving us space.... We chose to dine out on the courtyard it was beautiful. Every dish we tried was hot and fresh very good! Only disappointingpart.. I wasn\'t able to say hello to Justin Hunt, he was one of my favorite bosses at the Mills house he was just to busycooking and making everyone happy!! Had a great dinner at Philosopia! We had the Greek salad which was tomatoes and cucumbers and peppers marinated in a Greek... dressing and the meatballs. Both were very good. I want to go back and try more things! Definitely make a reservation. They alsoreserve the bar which is great! Read more
Absolutely amazing! I came for brunch with my sister and brother in law. I got the steak and eggs and a mimosa; both were... delicious! The service was great, our server was very friendly and we got our food relatively quickly!! Will definitely be backfor more!!! Read more
I am going to miss the ease of getting a table and the outstanding food and service … as soon as word gets out, everyone will... be here. Seriously excellent options on the food and drink menus. Been twice since opening night and we’ll be back for sure.Absolutely everything was excellent. Loved that both nights the chef, co-owner makes rounds to check on the experience at thetable. We just discovered the BEST Greek food in Mt. Pleasant and while my husband warned me that we’ll never get a table if it gets... too popular, I must write the truth. The Steamed Clams , the Aegean Salad, the veggies and the baklava were incredible. Theservice was wonderful and the atmosphere is terrific. Lots of outside seating too!
