Usually we really enjoy a salad from Verde. Today we had an awful experience. We asked for chopped salads and the young woman... who waited on us seemed annoyed at this request. She did a bad job and our salads were not close to being chopped. Servic waspoor and the quality of the salad was poor. The bread was stale and hard. Great place if you are on Dr. Esselstyn's reversing heart disease diet of lifestyle (dresselstyn.com). Create your own salad... with lots of choices of greens, grains, fruits and veggies! You can make one of the healthiest salads and it's enough for twopeople. We visit this location most of the times we visit Mount Pleasant or Charleston area. Read more
I wish I could give less than a one star review. My wife came into this location and was greeted by a worker named Brandon. As... my wife began to order, he called her obnoxious because of her order due to her dietary restrictions. He then proceeded toaggressively hit on my wife. At that point she made him aware of the fact that she was married. He responded by saying ?Oh comeon, what he doesn?t know won?t hurt him?. He continued to make inappropriate remarks to my wife until she walked out because ofhow uncomfortable she was. I can not even begin to wrap my head around the fact that this happened. Everything about this visit was great! But the acoustics of the location is terrible. The ceilings are high and metal, the music... volume was too high, and there isn't much furniture or decor, so you can't hear anything the staff are saying to you from behindthe counter. Great salads and options though, I'll definitely come back! Read more
A great find, all they do are salads which can be ordered in a bowl or in a wrap. The staff members were very welcoming,... attentive, friendly, and helpful explaining the different salads and also offering us several options for customizing thepre-designed salads or if we didn?t see a salad we liked, we could ?design-our-own? salad. My wife ordered the Seasonal?Strawberry Fields w/roasted chicken? in a bowl and I ordered the ?Mesa Verde? in a wrap. Both of our selections were made toorder, filled with fresh ingredients, delicious, and to boot, the portion sizes were large. There were plenty of inside andoutside seating available but because we were only a few minutes away from our hotel we elected to bring our food back to ourhotel room to enjoy.
